25.01.2022 This was my first ever colour fix, we were both really happy!

24.01.2022 Being a commercial salon hairdresser is HARD. Your work is physically draining, and you're expected to meet time contraints and churn through a mass of clients, whilst answering phones, dealing with stock, complaints, clean up, scheduling, and training apprentice or assistant staff. The hours are long. Salons have to be open seven days a week to be competitive, and be open after hours as well. Clients demand a high level of service with little interpersonal time, or consultat...ion to assess to their hair. The industry is controlled by men. 80% of clientele are women, and 80% of stylists are women, but it's men who sit in the positions of power, that own the businesses and brands. This is an attack on women dominated industry when it comes to the workers. This is an attack on hard working individuals who do it for the love of the work and nothing else.

22.01.2022 This week suspicions were confirmed, and I have been diagnosed with fibro myalgia (this being on top of depression, anxiety, narcolepsy and restless legs syndrome). I will continue to take as many appointments as I am able, however due to constant medical appointments and erratic health - I ask for some understanding if rescheduling happens. Know that if I'm asking for a time change, it's because I want to do the best work I can for you as I learn.... Lots of love to clients & supporters, it means the world. Embrace your weird

19.01.2022 This week I started getting some hands on experience. I have an amazing collective of women training me, and was lucky to work on these extension braids. For expert service in extensions, braiding, dread lock - hit up Citihair Extensions in North Melbourne. Mighy see my colourful head of hair running around :)
