25.01.2022 Update on wedding restrictions in the ACT from September 2nd. Weddings will be able to have 10 people. This excludes the Celebrant but includes the couple and witnesses, so means 6 guests can attend. This is up from 5 people which included the Celebrant :)

25.01.2022 I will be doing fewer weddings this year and beginning of next as I have received a grant to write a book :) The book is based on one of my comedy shows and not about being a Celebrant but as it will take up a lot of time I will only be able to take on midweek weddings between now and the end of the year (all weekends are booked). Next year is looking very busy so if you would like me to officiate your ceremony please book in soon :) xxxxxxxxxx

23.01.2022 Best signing pens EVER for today’s ceremony

21.01.2022 If you've had to postpone your wedding due to COVID -19 and love pizza, Dominos has a promotion you might be interested in. https://www.franchisebusiness.com.au/say-i-dough-with-free/ https://woobox.com/6s52d3

21.01.2022 My penultimate wedding for the year is today at Old Parliament House. It is for a lovely couple who met while working at The Department of the Environment. I guess you could say they were environMEANT to be (boom tish). Yes I will be saying that in the ceremony :)

19.01.2022 Unique situations require unique approaches. With the announcement of some cultural institutions/venues deciding to close and some travel bans in place making it difficult for families and friends of couples to travel I have made the decision to postpone all new wedding bookings for the remainder of 2020 as this ensures all my current wedding couples have greater flexiblity to change venue and reschedule their weddings if required. For all my current wedding couples please fe...el free to get in contact if you need to change anything and I will do my absolute best to accomodate you. The world could certainly do with some love at the moment so we will do our best to continue in any capacity possible. For any prospective couples please keep in touch and we will meet once this passes. Until then stay safe and look after one another. Txxxxxxx

17.01.2022 I haven't posted for a while as getting through January and February weddings has required a little more planning than first thought due to fires/smoke/road closures and hail but luckily everyone got hitched without a hitch :) I will aim to post more regularly now that the kids are back at school and I cannot wait to share details of all the fabulous weddings I have done and have coming up.xxxx

16.01.2022 A FABULOUS 5 star review on my google page. A Gazillion thanks to Aaron and Nicole what a privilege to be a part of your wedding. xxxx Tanya is an utterly incredible celebrant, we cannot recommend her highly enough. She was great to work with from start to finish including regular contact throughout our six-month long COVID postponement! She did an amazing job of the ceremony it was the perfect blend of sentimental and light-hearted, which was exactly what we wanted. Des...pite only meeting Tanya a handful of times, she crafted a ceremony that felt totally tailored to us as a couple; it was clear she had taken great care in getting to know and understand us. Perhaps the best praise: my wife's religious parents had expressed some nervousness about us using a celebrant, but they were so stoked with her ceremony they spent more time at the wedding singing her praises than ours :) Aaron and Nicole ***** See more

14.01.2022 I was on ABC Canberra Breakfast today on a segment called Be Brave Shuffle. I chatted a bit about being a Comedian and a Celebrant. You can check it out here https://www.abc.net.au//canbe/programs/breakfast/episodes/. Just click on todays ep and I am on about 2 hours in. Fun times :)

14.01.2022 I had so many things I wanted to write for my final post of the year that included more than happy holidays and thank you for all your support throughout this year, but after doing weddings that involved driving through bushfire ravaged areas and navigating a global pandemic all I can say is ‘WE DID IT’. So instead of a long post I’ll keep it short and sweet and instead share a photo of my business partner at our Xmas party and say to everyone whose wedding I officiated this year, you are amazing. And to everyone who postponed or booked me for next year and 2022, you are amazing too. See everyone in 2021 (either in person or on zoom) and stay safe, well and bring on the new year!!! Xxxxx

14.01.2022 I took this off my mate Jules’ stories as it didn’t come up in memories. I can’t believe this was 3 years ago. Such a phenomenal time.

14.01.2022 While I haven't had as many weddings to do I have been focusing on my other job as a comedian. You will be able to hear me on Radio National tomorrow as part of the Ladies Let's Talk podcast and I was lucky enough to be included in an animation put together by the fabulous and hilarious Chris Ryan. Even though things have been quiet they are certainly looking busy for the end of this year and for 2021 so thank you for your support and I can not wait to share some new projects with you. The animation I was a part of comes with a language warning so I wasn’t sure whether to share it here or not so if you would like to see it please send me a DM and I will send it through. I am looking forward to seeing everyone around the wedding circuit :)

14.01.2022 Thank you to Brooke and Marcos and Georgia and Matt for my latest 5 star reviews on Easy Weddings. xxxxxxxxxxx ***** "Tanya was an absolute joy to work, and she made the whole process so easy for me from day one - from the initial meeting, through to all the paperwork and set up on the day. Tanya is highly organized and efficient. She was so accommodating and always willing to work with our challenging schedules. Something we really appreciated. Whilst we'd only met face-to-f...ace a couple of times before the wedding, Tanya is so likable, it felt like she was one of our guests. On the day, her light-hearted-but-still appropriately-serious delivery was absolutely perfect for us. We were both a bit nervous but we had nothing to worry about! I cannot recommend Tanya enough as a celebrant. " ***** "Tan was the perfect celebrant! From the moment we met her we felt so comfortable and relaxed. It really felt like being married by a friend. She took care of everything, was so easy to communicate with and made the whole process ridiculously easy for us. On the day she was so organised and delivered the most beautifully written ceremony. All our friends and family commented on how wonderful it was. We couldn't recommend her enough. " See more

13.01.2022 Thank you so much to Kelly and her team at Huggins Photography for this pic. This is from Libby and Nathan's gorgeous sculpture garden wedding at the NGA in January where the couple were almost upstaged by their gorgeous dog Lola :) As a Celebrant and a comedian and a mum I decided that this year I would take on less weddings but I love it so much I just can't. I have opened up a few more spots for bookings for later this year and next year is starting to fill up so if you are keen to get hitched please don't hesitate to get in touch. Txxxxxxx

13.01.2022 Picturesque Pialligo estate and Poachers Pantry, two stunning places you will find me doing weddings over the weekend. Wedding season is well and truly upon us :). https://www.thepialligoestate.com.au/ https://www.poacherspantry.com.au/

13.01.2022 So instead of heading into busy wedding season, my two weddings on the weekend at wedding venues were the last for a while. Thank you to all the couples who are postponing or choosing elopement style ceremonies instead, and in all this craziness I feel lucky to work in an industry that will eventually bounce back. My heart goes out to all the couples, venue operators and their staff, photographers, musicians, florists, bakers, stylists and anyone else associated with the wedd...ing industry but for now it is important to stay well and practice social distancing for the benefit of all. I’ll still be continuing to work with couples for weddings in the future in-between homeschooling and making sure my elderly parents stay healthy. So for any couples who I have done ceremonies for if you find yourself at home and with a spare minute to do a review for me via the link below I’d love that as they are more important than ever. The only two family members that seem very happy with everything that is going on at the moment are Stella the dog and Hudson the cat who are getting more attention then they ever imagined. The photo is from the top of Red Hill which is mine and Stella's daily walk. A great reminder that the world is a beautiful place and will recover and that it is very easy to practice social distancing in Canberra:). Stay well everyone and until we can meet again keep in touch (without touching :)) xxxx https://easyweddings.com.au/re/supplier/AntoniaTanyaLosanno See more

13.01.2022 From Poachers Pantry to Lacmalac Soldiers Memorial Hall, the couples and weather were gorgeous for weddings in NSW

12.01.2022 A few weddings are still going ahead so it is time to get creative. Instead of hugging and kissing the married couple tomorrow I am going to ask everyone at the end of the ceremony to instead give these dinosaur enthusiasts a roar of congratulations (from a distance). If anyone has any other ideas (or thinks this is terrible and I should scrap it) please feel free to send them my way. We will get through this. Txxxxxxxxxx

12.01.2022 I haven't written here for a while as we still all wait and watch how the situation with covid-19 unfolds. To all my wonderful Melbourne friends I can't stop thinking of you all and hope you and all your families and friends are safe and well. And to all my wedding couples wherever you are rest assured I will continue to do whatever I can to accomodate any changes due to border closures and restrictions. Please all take care and if anyone is keen for a chat (in which I will undoubtedly attempt to make you laugh) please get in touch. xxxxxx

11.01.2022 A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Melbourne. Finally restrictions are easing and the lockdown is coming to an end. This is wonderful news for wedding couples and their friends and families, Celebrants, venues, caterers, photographers, musicians, florists, bakers, haridressers, make up artists, gown/suit makers, and anyone else involved in making a wedding happen. Even though there are some restrictions still in place this is such great news and means an industry hit hard can start to recover. Melbourne I pronounce you magnificent, marvellous, magical, and a great place to get married :)))) As of midnight tonight you can kiss whoever you want (although prob still at a distance is good for now) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

11.01.2022 Brilliant https://www.google.co.uk//couple-stage-wedding-115-l/amp/

11.01.2022 Hilarious. Congrats to the couple

11.01.2022 My google page now says Celebrant/comedian so if you’ve seen me in either capacity I’d love if you could Punch in Antonia Losanno to google and give me a 5 star review. I’ll upload some new photos to the page soon. This one is from a gig I was lucky enough to do a couple of weeks ago in adherence to COVID requirements and conveys my surprise about the year that is 2020. Thanks to Mel Fernandez for the pic :)

09.01.2022 7 years today I started this Celebrant caper. 7 years of being involved in the telling of people's love stories and shedding many a happy tear and having a lot of laughs. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my career to date, it has been and continues to be more brilliant than I ever could have imagined. And here's to many more years of celebrating love. Txxxxxxxx

08.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for 2020! Just finished a fabulous wedding at the National Arboretum. The couple were so happy they gifted me this gorgeous Ferrari! Oh how I wish x

06.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com/sammyjcomedian/videos/178617784343736 This is hilarious :)

06.01.2022 I know I am sharing lots of emails from couples lately but after this crazy year and seeing people FINALLY tie the knot while having to navigate a pandemic, I just can't help myself. Sam and Callum got married in Bungendore NSW on the weekend and we managed to get the ceremony done before it started to rain. Everything about them was gorgeous. Only two weddings left for this year and then I have a break and spend some quality time with my family before a bumper 2021. xxxxxx ...Tanya Thank you so much. Honestly, we could not have chosen anyone better to marry us, you did such an incredible job, you made us feel so special and you certainly made the ceremony so easy and simple. We really cannot summarise into words how grateful we are for all your time, physically coming to meet with us, for the rehearsal and for the wedding, and your time spent in the background writing and learning a ceremony unique to us. you have been incredible. We had so many people comment on how beautiful the ceremony was, and we know it wouldn't have been as magical without you! thank you. S and C See more

06.01.2022 I am so lucky that even through the pandemic I am being booked to do weddings and next year is looking absolutely massive :) I am doing my best to be as flexible for all my couples and this 5 star review from Megan accurately sums this year up. Congrats Megan and Bernie and I will always do what I can to help. xxxx "Tanya was simply amazing, she put up with me swapping and changing meetings and ideas and dates. We felt very comfortable with her, and feel so lucky to have had Tanya as part of our day. I cannot recommend Tanya enough!!"

05.01.2022 The weather is spectacular and the show must go on even if the celebrant smells like hand sanitizer :) The Arboretum yesterday and Hotel Kurrajong today. The weddings are more intimate, space is being used more effectively and people have been very great at keeping their distance but still enjoying the moment. Things have changed but life and love goes on.

05.01.2022 I haven't posted for a while as it has been school holidays (which didn't look much different from the last 2 weeks of term 1) and now we are back into homeschooling. Like everyone else I cannot praise our teachers enough and am looking forward to getting back to work writing future weddings and touching base with couples in-between making numerous snacks :) Even though things seems to be relaxing a bit in some states in the ACT region at present weddings are still only allowed with 5 people but there is no reason they cannot be just as wonderful and special as bigger ones. A gazillion thank yous to all the couples I am working with and everyone booking in for later this year and next. Your support has been overwhelming. Now I am off to make another snack for my children ( yes already and school hasn't even started!). Stay well. xxxxx

05.01.2022 Today is National Celebrant's Day. I am not sure why there is a day for having one of the best jobs in the world but I will take it :) It has been one crazy year so thanks a million to everyone for their support, and to everyone who has had to postpone I can't wait to be involved in your ceremony soon. It was after my own wedding ceremony that I thought about becoming a Celebrant and even though it took a while I finally did it and haven't looked back. It really is a great job, (especially now with marriage equality) and I am looking forward to a huge 2021 and beyond .

04.01.2022 As of midnight new restrictions were eased in the ACT and now 10 people plus the Celebrant (that's me:)) can attend a wedding. I know this will be very welcome news for some couples with ceremonies coming up. Please note that social distancing is still a requirement but I am so happy for those who were keen for more people to be a part of their happy, happy day, YAY :):):)

03.01.2022 Thank you for the 5 star review on Easy Weddings Lachlan and Danica :) I have been posting less since the beginning of the pandemic but have been lucky to still be working through what is a very difficult time for many people (Melbourne I love you x). I am looking forward to looking back and sharing photos and reviews from all my ceremonies this year, from the big ones to those with only 5 people. And to everyone who has had to postpone I look forward to restrictions lifting ...and celebrating in style as soon as circumstances allow. Txxxxxxxx "We are so grateful that we had Tanya as our celebrant - she is knowledgeable, responsive, kind and generous with her time. She is very easy to get a long with and took the time to get to know us. This meant that our ceremony was not only meaningful and personal, but also seamless. We would engage Tanya again in a heartbeat!" Danica and Lachlan

02.01.2022 The gorgeous town of Michelago NSW was recently in the fire front of the NSW bushfires but that hasn't deterred a beautiful couple from getting married out there on Saturday. If you are ever looking to do a country drive not too far out of Canberra I can recommend checking it out and supporting fire effected communities in the process :) https://the-riotact.com/canberra-day-trips-michelago/209277

01.01.2022 Every year at this time I think I should offer to officiate ceremonies under the archway in my front yard.
