23.01.2022 Cushion made while in isolation has found its spot
23.01.2022 Hi everyone, How are you? How are you coping with what is happening in Australia and around the world? I don't post often but if there has ever been a time for social media it is now!... So far my family and friends here in Melbourne are ok and so is everyone in Croatia. As of today my two sons and i are at home. My husband still works. Regards, Antonija
22.01.2022 New necklaces in the making
22.01.2022 Day 5: 1) I am getting increasingly anxious about going to the shops . I have registered with Coles online yesterday but wasn’t able to get the order through . 2) If your family members are as competitive as some of mine I don’t recommend Trouble as family entertainment .... 3) I’m ticking well overdue jobs off the to do list, like trimming the trees/ bushes. It’s super exciting doing it with my teenager 4) My knitting project ( cushion cover) is coming along nicely . How are you? Regards, Antonija
18.01.2022 I had yarn left over from my vest project. I made a cowl. What do you think?
18.01.2022 Day 3: Everyone is calling it isolation. Sure, it’s physical isolation. However, I am communicating with friends and family more than usual because we all have time. It’s the loss of freedom with anxiety about what the future holds that better describes the situation. I always try and make the best in any situation so I have:... Decided not to follow what is happening around the world ALL day. I check the news in the morning and evening only. Started new craft project( it will be a simple cushion cover, knitted). I am determined to finish all the jobs around the house which should have been done years ago, but weren’t because I didn’t have the time. I think this will help me stay sane and keep the blood pressure in check How are you? Regards, Antonija
18.01.2022 Day 33: Seems worse when I say it’s almost 5 weeks However I still haven’t got anything to complain about. We are all healthy. It’s very disturbing watching the news and devastation around the world. I do struggle with it and have ups and downs. ... The only way I have been able to cope is by staying busy. I’ve spent days reorganising and cleaning my studio/work room. I have never had a chance to do this properly before. Love it!!! Hope you’re all keeping healthy and sane. What have you been up to?
16.01.2022 Day 13: 1) I have managed to establish some sort of a routine for my 15 year old son. Luka is a tennis player. He normally trains around 20 hours a week so being at home is definitely a shock to the system. We are very lucky to have an oval and a wall close to our house. We walk there at 11 am every day and spend about 1.5-2 hours there. Luka hitting against the wall and running and i walk. 2) I’m still ticking jobs of the to do list ( not as enthusiastic as last week ).... 3) One side of my cushion cover is almost done . How are you getting on? Regards, Antonija
15.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2015 brings you happiness, health and excitement.
14.01.2022 Day 7: 1) Food glorious food . I made the brad rolls too. 2) We played Monopoly today ( caused less arguments than Trouble).... Can anyone recommend a good series on Netflix? Regards, Antonija
13.01.2022 New collection coming in 2019!
12.01.2022 Day 46: I love sewing even more when it’s cold and raining . And there has been a lot of days like that in Melbourne.
12.01.2022 Day 22: 1) I made some crochet flowers for my cushion cover. What do you think? 2) To avoid news and Netflix I started doing the puzzle ... 3) My famous home made pizza was on the menu yesterday 4) We are doing well in maintaining our routine, still going to the oval every day. I feel that is important. How are you holding up? Regards, Antonija

12.01.2022 Day 50 (which was 15th May) was my (and Luka's) last day of isolation. Last week Luka started training and this week i have resumed my duties at the club. He is starting his fitness training next week. So days are getting busy again. Please understand that i am deeply respectful and saddened by what is going on around the world. However i loved my time at home and not running around like crazy trying to fit more than humanly possible into my days. I hope i can maintain this... calmness i am feeling now. I knitted front and back for this vest couple of years ago but i never put it together. It's another project i finished during isolation. Hope you are all healthy and sane.
06.01.2022 Last time I was in Croatia my aunt gave me this fabric. It was handmade by my grandmother. This is very special to me! So I can’t decide what to do with it. I feel it has to be something fantastic and I don’t want to stuff it up All you crafty people, what would you do with it?
05.01.2022 I am very happy to say that my new website is up and running!
03.01.2022 I’m in love with this combination! Can’t wait to start putting these together
03.01.2022 Snowflakes in the making! Normally I would say it’s too early to talk about Christmas but this year I am too excited about my upcoming trip to Europe for Christmas. So here they are
01.01.2022 Day 39: Half way through week 6 I finished the puzzle! One piece is missing ... Lots of baking happening. Hope you’re all keeping safe and sane!
