07.01.2022 CHOCOLATE PORTOKALOPITA. We absolutely love the way that Kathy Tsaples from Sweet Greek celebrates and embraces beautiful quality Australian ingredients in her cooking. Her Chocolate Portokalopita (orange pie) is a delicious example of Kathy’s wonderful ability to transform the simple into the amazing! Kathy air dries the Fillo Pastry overnight and crumbles it into fine crumbs, a beautiful process to watch and a necessary step to help create a moist grainy textured consistency throughout the cake. This is a delicious, generous sized cake that Kathy insists should be shared with everyone around you! Decadent chocolate goodness combined with a beautiful orange syrup a winning flavour combination!
