20.01.2022 ECI and ANU Climate Change Institute members Professor Frank Jotzo & Dr Rebecca Colvin are both part of new studies into how we need to start preparing a "just transition" for communities who will be affected by the phasing out of coal. Prof Jotzo, Director of the Centre for Climate & Energy Policy in the Crawford School of Public Policy, was part of a global study that was published in Nature Climate Change. Dr Colvin, whos also part of Crawford Schools Resources, Environment & Development Group, examined regional communities in Australia, especially the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
