25.01.2022 Contribute and send your ideas to ANU below Zero initiative to help ANU reduce its contributions to climate change ANU is seeking ideas from all students, staff and the community to help develop the ANU Below Zero strategy, based on personal perspectives and research & professional expertise. Transformational change is required to limit global warming to 1.5C, including rapid reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the implementation of technologies which remo...ve and store GHGs from the atmosphere. Simply reducing our emissions to net-zero is no longer enough to maintain a safe and stable climate. We need to reduce emissions to below net zero. As the national university, ANU has a responsibility to lead the nation in line with world's best practice on emissions reduction. For more information: https://www.anu.edu.au//strategi/anu-below-zero-initiative
