19.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING TRAINING The evolving situation with COVID-19 is one that the International Jujutsu Institute is taking very seriously. The health and safety of our students, coaches and extended community is of upmost importance to us. The ANU Sports and Recreation Association have advised that they will continue to operate as business as usual. This follows the advice from the World Health Organisation, the Australian Government Department of Health and ACT Healt...h. The ANU Jujutsu Club will continue to train for the time being but will reassess on a regular basis. We understand that you may have concerns in respect to training and we encourage you to make your own decision based on individual and social circumstances. In addition to the hygiene matters specified in the IJJI Code of Conduct, the following guidelines will be put in place for those that wish to continue to train: 1. anyone who has returned from a high risk country prior to midnight on 15/3/2020 should not train for 2 weeks from the time of arrival in Australia. This currently includes China, Iran, most of South East Asia, Italy and Spain. 2. anyone returning from overseas from any country after midnight 15/3/2020 will need to self-isolate for 14 days as per national public health policy. 3. anyone with a new cough, cold, runny nose or fever should not attend training, no matter how mild, until the symptoms completely dissipate. 4. if you are concerned you have been exposed to the virus, we ask that you report this immediately to your health practitioner as appropriate and self-isolate as directed by health professionals. We also ask that you advise us immediately so we can seek the necessary advice. 5. all students will be required to wash their hands prior to stepping on the mat. Hand sanitiser will also be available. As you can appreciate information changes daily and we will attempt to keep you up-to-date on anything that may impact you or your training. We strongly suggest you refer daily to our Facebook page for any further updates. Once again, like always, if you need any assistance please get in contact with one of our seniors.

The health and safety of students, coaches and the extended community ...remains paramount. We will be in touch closer to the 15th April to give you a further update and are hopeful that we will be able to recommence classes at that time.
