21.01.2022 Congratulations to Professor Michelle Coote for being announced as a finalist for the Australian Museum Eureka Prize 2020. This is the third straight year, Michelle has been nominated as part of The Invisible Catalyst Team whose work has shown that electric fields can be used to manipulate chemical reactions. This discovery could enable greener and safer methods for fabricating materials, from drugs to plastics.

The prestigious Churchill Fellowship is an award offered to Australians from all walks of life to address challenges facing contemporary Australia. Assoc. Prof. Mal McLeod has received the award with plans to visit leading international drug checking services (Austria, Netherlands and Portugal) to rapidly improve the analytical chemistry capabilities here in Australia.
