25.01.2022 Want to experience how yoga and meditation help with anxiety but don't know where to start? I am running this workshop this Saturday at The Yoga and Meditation Lounge. This Saturday: INTRO TO YOGA & MEDITATION 10am-3pm... In a workshop format, you will experience a day of guided practices delivered with lot's of information. Thorough and informative, you will gain a greater depth and understanding of yoga, becoming familiar with yoga foundations from yogic breathing practices, use of props, correct alignment in poses for a safe and effective practice, relaxation, and meditation, while also learning how to pace yourself and modify your practice to accommodate your individual body's needs. This a fabulous introduction to yoga for anyone who has never practiced before, who may be feeling a little insecure or hesitant about attending regular classes (or even regular practitioners who may want to brush up on their basic yoga knowledge). 23.01.2022 1 year is 365 single days. What ever it is you want to change, you get there one day at a time. There is no other way. Work at it and manage this day. Then repeat. One day turns into one year, turns in to 16 years. Well done Russell. Whatever it is, with committment to each 'this one day', you can do it too.

10.01.2022 Are you comfortable being you?



10.01.2022 Becoming consciously you involves presence in your actions... right down to how you hug another persion. Which hug is yours? 1) AIR HUG - as little of the body touches the person you are hugging. Most often the cheek is turned and kept a distance from the other person. Very quick hug. 2) SCRUM HUG - shoulders connect with the person you are hugging. Elbows stick out as the hands wrap around the other persons shoulder blades. Belly, bum and legs move in the opposite direction.... 'Endures' hug for a brief moment. 3) BABY BURPER HUG - hand pats the other persons upper back. Disconnects from hug asap. 4) COMBO HUG - Air or Scrum hug followed by Baby Burper Hug. Tolerates hug longer than desirable. Hand pats wind up the hug. 4) GENUINE HUG - heart connects. Much of the body connects. Shoulders are relaxaed and arms are soft. Breathing is relaxed. Lingers in the hug. Soaks up the hug. Energetically sends love to the other person. If you are going to connect with someone, make it real. If hugging is unpleasant for you, practice more! Practice connecting from the heart over and over again...

02.01.2022 Don't know happiness now? Change something - anything! Learn how you might do something differently. Maybe that means reading a book, speaking to inspiring people, seeing a therapist, giving accupuncture a whirl, getting out in nature, going to a workshop, finding a teacher. However you do it, just start moving in a new direction with any new single step.
