24.01.2022 The pork belly, roasted apple & crackling pie is probably my favourite creation at Anything but Humble. It was the first pie that I knew I wanted on the menu but it took a very long time to perfect it. Two years ago, I was living in Lyttelton, New Zealand where I ate a pork belly pie and instantly fell in love. I had to create one of my own. To make our pie we brine the pork belly with cinammon, cloves, star anise & bay leaf for two days. We then braise it in our housemade c...hicken stock, apple cider, rosemary, sage & mustard until the pork belly is fall apart tender. We top the pork with roasted pink lady and granny smith apples, and a big piece of pork crackling. We hope you are enjoying this one as much as we do. 20.01.2022 The beef, habanero & bacon pie is one of our personal favourites here at Anything but Humble. To make the filling, we braise a mix of beef chuck & brisket with red wine, onion, garlic & stock. We then add some crispy fried streaky bacon, habanero chilli, cumin, paprika & chipotle chilli to finish. We hope you love it as much as we do. Warning - this is extra spicy this week. Beginners should proceed with caution. #anythingbuthumble
