20.01.2022 A recent update from the Premier made on the 29th July 2020, states that all gyms will need to be staffed in order to be operational, which proves difficult for our 24 hour brand. Going forward, we are looking to have our clubs staffed for the majority of the day, and we are doing our best to ensure our valued members have access to our clubs for 15 hours of the 24 hour period, Monday Friday. We understand that this may be inconvenient for some of our members, although we ...are going through unprecedented times together, and hope you can appreciate our efforts. We hope your memberships with us remain active as exercise has a number of benefits for not only our physical health, but our mental health as well. Our clubs remain Covid Safe, and are fully equip to hold the number of members throughout peak periods, in which we have laid out social distancing measures. As of 1st of August, our new staffing hours will be in place. Please note that this Saturday the 1st of August ONLY, we will be open from 10am-4pm. We have already increased our hours but will spend the coming days going over all of our usage patterns for every day of the week, to then staff as many hours as possible for you. We will be doing everything possible with our roster & team so there is no disruption to your membership. Thank you again, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Sarah, your Club Manager. Thankyou for your understanding and for being so patient during these times.

I set myself a goal to do 100 burpees yesterday (more in one day than I've done in my life, so please don't judge the poor form ) How many Burpees can you do in 1 minute? 13.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to bring a towel to every session as well as wiping down equipment before AND after use. Towels must be on equipment and not beside you on the floor and wipes are to be placed in the bins provided and not left on the floor. We are doing our very best to ensure the health and safety of both members and staff with a clean and safe environment at all times. Please follow the rules as they are not only put in place by the club but are a government requirement too. 08.01.2022 TASTY TUESDAY!! Raspberry Granola bars... I'm the kind of person who looks at a recipe and thinks "No way, that's too many ingredients so it'll probably be too much effort!" These slices though Easy Peasy!!!... INGREDIENTS: 2 1/2 cups Rolled oats 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg 1 teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt Nuts and seeds of choice, I've used 2 teaspoons Chia Seeds 1 tablespoon Linseeds 1/4 Slithered almonds 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup Shredded Coconut 6 Tablespoons melted Coconut Oil 1/4 cup Peanut Butter 1/4 cup Maple Syrup 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract 1 cup Fresh Raspberries METHOD: Preheat oven to 180 Line 8x10 pan with baking paper In food processor, pulse only half a cup of the oats until it resembles flour In a large bowl combine all the ingredients except the raspberries until completely mixed. Then gently fold the raspberries into the mixture Spread onto baking tray evenly and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown Let chill before placing into the fridge OPTIONAL: Melt dark chocolate on top and sprinkle with coconut Place in fridge overnight or for a few hours, if you're impatient and ready to devour once the chocolate is set!

05.01.2022 Meal Prep doesn't always have to be boring. Especially through winter when you just want something hearty and tasty Warm Potato salad is the way to go!! 500g white potato (cut in cubes)... 500g sweet potato (also cut in cubes) 4 garlic cloves 2 table spoons Extra Virgin olive oil 1 large red capsicum 1 large red onion (cut into wedges) 1/4 pine nuts 100 grams baby spinach DRESSING: 2 table spoons lemon juice 1/4 cup Extra Virgin olive oil 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard 2 tablespoons fresh Oregano finely chopped 1. Roast potatoes in oven at 200 for 20 minutes with the EV olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. 2. Add capsicum and red onion for a further 15 minutes 3. Toss in pine nuts for 5 more mins or until veggies are brown and tender. 4. Add dressing and spinach to mixture (the warm potatoes will wilt the spinach once you mix all together) ENJOY!

02.01.2022 Looking for a warm, healthy hearty meal for dinner tonight? Give this one a try 1kg Gravy beef (or rump steak) Beef Stock Herbs/Spices (I've used Oregano, paprika, mixed herbs and salt)... 1 white onion 1 large capsicum (Or 2 small ones, I've used a red and yellow) All your favourite veggies. There's no right or wrong for this recipe, just throw 'em all in! Slice meat into 2x2cm cubes and place in pot with Beef Stock. Bring to a boil and once boiling turn down to simmer for 1 hour Cut up veggies Pan fry onion and capsicum with your herbs and spices Once meat has simmered for an hour, you can place the veggies in and boil again. When it starts to npil, bring down to simmer until your veggies are soft. Keep in mind that potatoes take a lot longer to soften so split your veggies between hard and soft. Harder veggies in first, then when they are half cooked you can throw in the softer once. When your veggies are soft, you're ready to dig in! Goes perfectly with baguette with butter on top. #food #health #veggies #protein #healthyaf #homecooked
