22.01.2022 Sorry we got your hopes up. There’s been a government update and we are now remaining as open during staffed hours only. We were just as excited as you were to be going back to open 24/7, however this morning Victoria government has updated the regulations so we must have staff present at all times. Meaning we’ll be operating during staffed hours as before, see these below:... Mon-Thu: 6am- 9pm Fri: 7am-4pm Sat: 8am-2pm Sun: 9am - 1pm Again, a big thanks to all our awesome members for following in-club guidelines. We hope to open 24/7 soon! We appreciate your patience!

22.01.2022 Our doors re-open Monday 9th at 9am! We are incredibly excited to see you all again! Following the direction from the government, we are unable to open 24/7 for now as we must be staffed. ... We will be open: Mon-Thurs 6am-9pm Fri 7am-4pm Sat 8am-2pm Sun 9am-1pm We are allowed maximum capacity of 20 people in the gym at any given time. No bookings are required for now however we will review this if needed. Please limit your workout to one hour. If you wish to remain on freeze please send your request to [email protected] We will action this prior to any billing. What you need to know; You MUST sanitise when you enter and exit the club and wipe down all equipment with the disinfectant wipes provided. Please stay 1.5m away from others Face masks, if you are doing exercise where you are out of breath such as cycling or running you do NOT need to wear a face mask. You must however carry a face mask with you so you can wear it before or after exercising, unless you have a lawful exception. Showers & Water Fountains are unavailable for now.

What made you start training at Anytime Fitness Alphington? Covid last year really put things into perspective, I lost an old class mate to suicide during the pandemic. All the advice from supposed ‘health experts’ was to stay inside and limit everyone from doing anything. But there was no advice regarding phy...sical and mental health, I knew I needed to make a change for both physical and mental stability. What do you love about ATF Alphington in particular? The vibe, it’s small but it’s got what you need. The team are welcoming and awesome too What’s you’re biggest achievement so far? Honestly, just getting after it! My energy levels and mentality are more in check. No more Xbox rage. What is your favourite exercise? Love a good tricep pump Future goals? Just to keep turning up & putting in the work. It’s preventative maintenance for later in life Fun fact about you? I’m older than you think

Our club is currently not staffed and therefore responses to members will be delayed. All memberships will be put on freeze and will re-activate once we are re-opened.... 12.01.2022 Not even Covid could get in the way of my last day at Anytime Fitness Alphington! I started as Club Manager in 2013 for what I thought would be one year...... eight years later and I’m saying farewell (for now) as I take on my new title of Mum. Thank-you to my incredible members and ... staff for making my job one I enjoyed going to. I’ve met some wonderful people, many of whom are now life long friends. It’s been the most fun, challenging and rewarding job I could have ever wished for. Let the next chapter begin.... Much love and gratitude to you all

Recognition that incidental exercise and jogging around the streets of Fairfield and Alphington wasn't going to be enough in my 60's to keep me fit, healthy and happy.... What do you love about ATF Alphington in particular? Great equipment, space and staff, and always a friendly and supportive vibe between everyone when I'm there exercising. What’s you’re biggest achievement so far? Getting through the 60 day challenge! What is your favourite exercise? Circuit, even though I do make myself laugh at how uncoordinated I am doing some exercises! Future goals? Maintaining motivation and improving my fitness. Fun fact about you? ATF Alphington is a long way from the wheat and sheep farm I grew up on in WA!
