He told us that he loves being a member of the AF Family because he is able to enjoy any location, at any time, which suits his study, family and work commitments! ... But he LOVES our gym the most!... In the 7 years of his training, he has never been to a gym that is as clean, spacious or friendly as ours! Rowan is a Law graduate specialising in Medical Malpractice! 03.01.2022 We are so proud of Nancy and her dedication! Before covid intervened... Nancy loved to exercise and socialise with her friends. In fact, she joined the gym so that she could stay fit for Golf! Her favourite thing about Golf is "just BEING THERE and being outside, enjoying the moment with all of her friends!"... Nancy would play Golf regularly and could WALK the entire 18 Holes at the beautiful Oakbank Golf Club. Nancy admited that staying fit during covid was especially difficult! Being confined and isolated over the 10 weeks took its toll and put major stress on her body! "It is surprising how we take the little things for granted!" Nancy tells us it is so important to KEEP MOVING! If you don't use it, you lose it! She started experiencing hip and lower lumber pain! She lost all her strength, and could not lift her foot. She found it difficult getting into her car! She had tore a deep muscle and lost usage of her leg! Her leg muscles turned black and blue from bruising and was extremely painful! Post covid... When restrictions had lifted, Nancy sought advice from her practitioner and resumed her fitness routine with us! Already, Nancy is showing amazing improvement! She is back enjoying Golf and can now walk 3 holes! She is building up strength in her legs using the treadmill and bike and it won't be long till she is hiking the 18 holes again!
