It’s been so long and we are just grateful the doors are finally reopen and you are all back in here training again Also we just want to acknowledge that although the current restrictions of the cap at 20 placed upon us with hasn’t sat well with some, the main thing is we are at least open again and these limited restrictions are only short term based on Premier Andrews’s ...announcement on Sunday. It’s about doing things in smart and controlled way before reopening the flood gates, as it’s a matter of health and safety and we obviously want to remain open!!! We also want to thank you all for being so understanding with the current restrictions along with the limited workout time. Everyone has been considerate of each other and that’s what we love seeing!! #Repost @fitnessaustralialtd Fitness Australia CEO Barrie Elvish said yesterday's announcement by the Victorian Government that gyms and other indoor fitness facilities will be allowed a cap of 100 people, class sizes of up to 20 people and a density quota of 1 per 4sqm from 23 November was excellent news for the Victorian fitness industry and gym members. For the community and the nearly 1 million Victorians who have a gym membership, they can now look forward to getting back into their gym routine within a COVID-Safe environment. Accessing a fitness facility is essential for people who use exercise to maintain their mental health, physical health and overall wellbeing. Mr Elvish said the industry could now see the light at the end of the tunnel and prepare for more robust operations while still ensuring consumer safety and confidence to exercise. We know gyms can open and operate safely with a robust COVID-Safe plan in place. We have successfully achieved this in Queensland with the endorsement and state-wide implementation of a Fitness Australia-led Fitness Industry COVID Safe Plan and need to make this a priority in Victoria. 10.01.2022 Hey everyone - Its time to book your workouts FROM SATURDAY.... As per the Government's requirements we are implementing a booking system for when we re-open on Monday. You can book up to 3 days in advance of your workout. To book your workout visit ON SATURDAY; https://reserve.anytimefitness.com/clubs/AU-1302... A reminder that our opening hours will be: - 6:00am to 9:00pm Monday to Thursday - 6:00am to 6:00pm Friday - 8:00am to 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday We normally see around 200 members each day, but to try and accommodate everyone we have opened up 300 workout slots per weekday and 80 workout slots each day on the weekend. We will test this schedule over the first week or two and re-assess. So please let us know if the schedule is not working for you. Lastly, we REALLY appreciate your patience around this. It is a difficult time and it is all new to us. We are doing our best to accommodate you whilst keeping everyone safe and healthy. See you from Monday.
