23.01.2022 #humansofanytime Member Spotlight - Adham Mikhael This is Adham Adham had been a member here for nearly 2 years! He currently is juggling having 2 jobs and still manages to train consistently! We got Adham to answer a few questions for us so you can all get to know his story! ... What is your main goal? I used to train for 3 hours per session and really focus on building my strength and lift as heavy as I could go! I managed to achieve so many PB’s training this way and loved it! However, I’ve now transitioned to a different style of training and am not so much lifting as heavy as I can go but trying to lean down a bit more as I feel healthier this way A quote Adham lives by: I didn’t say it was going to be easy, I said it was going to be worth it What Adham loves about AF Dural: I have been to a few gyms in the area and Anytime Fitness Dural is by far the best one in the area! 16.01.2022 AF HEALTH HUB RECIPE! HEALTHY PROTEIN COOKIE DOUGH BITES! This recipe is so easy as it doesn’t require baking! This could be a good snack recipe or a fun and tasty activity for you and the kids to do with school holidays coming to an end! This makes 18-20 cookie dough bites for you or the family! More healthy recipes and tips can be found on the AF HEALTH HUB! ... INGREDIENTS: 3 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsp honey cup almond flour cup pulverised oats (or oat flour) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 heaping tbsp nut butter of choice 2 tbsp cacao nibs, mini chocolate chips or carob chips METHOD: 1. Mix coconut oil, vanilla, and honey in a medium bowl. 2. Add almond meal, pulverised oats and protein powder. 3. Stir in nut butter. Continue mixing until thoroughly combined. 4. Add chip of choice to dough mixture. 5. Using a heaping teaspoon, form dough into balls. 6. Freeze dough bites (minimum 2 hours).

During childhood and adolescence, growth hormone makes us grow (as the name implies, Winter says. And when we are older, it helps us build lean muscle and helps our body repair when we have torn ourselves up during a hard workout, he adds. Growth hormone is essential for athletic recovery.
