23.01.2022 Meet AF members Jordan & Laura Jordan has been a member of Anytime for just over a year now & Laura is a new recruit joining just over a month ago now. Both are so happy to be back training in gyms since the closure during COVID & are even more enjoying coming to the gym and having a workout buddy to keep each other motivated & get back on track. They joined AF for their general health & fitness and weight loss goals. Both have been making amazing progress, Laura recently improving her endurance capabilities & Jordan improving his consistency in his training sessions and making the effort to come to the gym 5 days a week! 19.01.2022 MEMBER STORY This is Diana. Diana just absolutely smashed a session with PT Themi. Diana's goal for 2020 is to increase her muscle mass. So far Diana has made amazing progress with her training! PT Themi says she's doing great! She started training with 0 experience of weight training and now is killing squat training, and is at that stage where she is strong enough to do push ups and pull ups with assistance. Diana is doing all the right things in order to acheive her goals by increasing her calorie consumption up to 3200 calories per day! In order to see results you need to be fueling your body the right way. Diana says, "I felt great and pushed to my limit. I know I'm on the right train of where I am wanting to be." 17.01.2022 MEET ANDRE! Andre joined the Anytime Fitness Earlwood community almost 3 years ago! He joined AF Earlwood with multiple goals in mind, including muscle gain and getting better at making smarter nutritional choices. Andre also began training in order to get stronger and fitter for his body building competitions, and has made great progress! Andre has managed to meet all his goals by coming into AF Earlwood to train 5 times a week, and is now maintaining this lifestyle. Because of his love for fitness and the gym, Andre is now working towards achieving his Cert 4 for Personal Training! 07.01.2022 PILATES TIP What to do VS what NOT to do >> 4-Point-Kneeling position - Opp Arm & Leg: Pelvic stability & upper body strength exercise. ... > sinking into lower back > swaying side to side / dipping the torso > bending limbs > extending the neck out of alignment - The challenge is to keep the trunk of the body as still & stable as possible without affecting the rest of our body - Keep the core engaged to keep the trunk still: think belly button to spine connection // rib to hip bone connection to erase sinking into our lower backs & flaring the rib cage - Pull up through wrists, lift energy up and away from mat to eliminate sinking into our shoulders & flaring the rib cage - Pulling shoulders down & away from ears, squeeze the lats to draw shoulders down & help stabilise - Keep neck long and in alignment with spine: *look down to your mat.

Within these years he has put on a total of 16 kg and you often see him around the gym training calisthenic's. Jordan has set a new goal to become stronger with the help from our PT Alessandro. During his time here at AF, His main focus has been on strength training & general weight loss. Coming off an injury is super challenging and Hadji has made strong progress achieving his goal of lifting 120kgs - 20kgs more than what he was lifting when he injured his knee last year!!
