23.01.2022 Club update with Rachel This is what 4 weeks of consistency looks like. Training with Bec (@rebeccazeaiterpt) Rachel has dropped a total of 3.3kg and 16.5cm gone! She trains, without fail, 4 x a week with an upper and lower split program and has focussed on cleaning up her diet (vegan). Its not rocket science...be consistent, be patient and stick to the plan...results will follow ... We cant wait to see what she will achieve in the next 4 weeks! Well done @rachelibonney See more
23.01.2022 Member Spotlight - Meet Cee, a mother of soon to be 3. I joined anytime fitness almost 2 years ago where I learnt a lot about myself and what my body is capable of. I believe doing regular physical activity has definitely benefit me during this pregnancy and also helping prepare my body for birth. However, Im not exercising as intense as I normally do but have to modify exercises suitable for me and my growing baby. Ive enjoyed this journey thanks to anytime fitness goodna. This is the ultimate workout to give you the tone and definition youve been searching for. - Banded Barbell Squats... (3x20) - Banded Russian DLs (4x10) - Sumo Deadlifts (4x15) - Raised Heel Goblet Squats (3x20) - Bike Sprint Finisher (10 rounds 20sec on 10sec off) Remember to use a weight that challenges you and practice proper form and technique. Recently we were audited by a third party to ensure we are providing a Covid Safe environment and we are pleased to say we passed with flying colours. Since reopening we have been confident that we were compliant with all guidelines but its nice to make it official and have it in writing.... Thank you to the 4300 community for helping us maintain a clean and safe space for all. This has been a team effort and the results speak for themselves. We appreciate the continued effort to follow club guidelines during these times by wiping down equipment, using the sanitiser provided and using a towel during workouts. Keep up the awesome work!
12.01.2022 Meet Dave! He has been a member with us since opening, Dave is training to keep himself fit and especially strong. After two years Dave is sadly moving away. Don’t worry he will still be training with Anytime Fitness and plans to pop in when he’s back visiting family and friends. 12.01.2022 Bulgarian Split Squats with @rebeccazeaiterpt This is such a great unilateral leg exercise that places a lot of focus on the quads. It also requires a lot of coordination and balance. The hardest part is usually trying to figure out where to place your front foot. Many people do it with a narrow stance and others in a more stretched position. We recommend placing it where it feels comfortable for you and most importantly where you feel most of the weight on your front... leg. Below are 2 variations: 1 Ideally we want to see the torso and shin moving at the same angle. Its ok if your knee passes just over your toes. Just make sure that the knee remains aligned with your toes and not shifting inward or outward. The back foot is only there to help you stay balanced. All of the work should be coming from the front leg. 2 If however you suffer from a knee injury or pain, try and perform the 2nd variation. Youll notice that my shin is more vertical, which means theres less pressure on the knee. You then want to try and focus on driving through the heel. To progress the exercise, try using dumbbells, kettlebells or even a barbell. Implement this exercise into your next leg workout!

03.01.2022 Hammer Strength Plate-Loaded Squat Lunge feat, @rebeccazeaiterpt Romanian Deadlift Bulgarian Split Squat ... These are both great exercises for glute and hamstring development. When performing the RDL, the resistance curve forces your hips into position, generating a lot of tension through the glutes and hamstrings.
