25.01.2022 MONDAY MEMBER TRANSFORMATION . - Featuring our member @romadaly - -... What Inspired you to start your Fitness Journey? After coming out of a toxic relationship I wanted to change and become a better version of myself. I decided to move interstate for university so I wanted to feel confident and happy within myself. I was almost 80kg, i was physically unhappy and struggled severely with anxiety so it was this that inspired me to change and become the best version of myself. What/How do you stay motivated? Firstly the moment I changed my mindset to this is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix, is when I started to see results. Seeing results is part of what kept me going! Setting short term and long term goals allowed me to stay motivated over the two and a bit years of training. It isn’t easy, and the days you train when you don’t want to are when your results occur. You’ve got to be in it to win it! Positive mindset, goals, and showing up day in day out is how I found my motivation and love for fitness

Signing up to the gym when I was 14/15 I would be super scared to use machines and would only ever train legs, abs and cardio. As I got a little more confident and tried different machines I became inspired to really make a difference to my body and mind and start working hard! I started doing proper workout splits targeting all muscle groups and realised this is a journey I want to go on! What/How do you stay motivated? I stay motivated by looking how far I’ve come which makes me want to push harder and reach bigger goals! If I’m going through a lazy patch I find that if I make myself go to the gym for a week that motivation and drive comes back as I get back into that healthy routine that makes me feel good! @ Anytime Fitness

01.01.2022 #Repost @romadaly with @make_repost YA GIRL IS FINALLY IN THE 100KG SQUAT CLUB!!! For the past 12 months my all time goal was to finally hit a 100kg squat, and deadlift. I achieved the deadlift a few weeks ago but I’ve been preparing myself to finally hit this bad boy! ... I am someone who has spent well over 3 years perfecting and tweaking my squat technique. This is not something that happens overnight people! I started right from the bottom with the bar, and spent months on 40kg, then 50kg ect! I see so many people post their squats and the main error I always see is they aren’t performing the full range of motion! (Ie they aren’t going deep enough, they’re just performing half reps!!!) I’ve spent weeks at one weight range to ensure I can execute that squat to standard, especially if I’m going to be posting it for all you guys to see! I could easily squat 100kg for more reps if I don’t go the full range of motion like most people I see on insta and at the gym, but it’s not about lifting the heaviest and being the best, its about correctly performing the exercise to your bodies abilities.
