18.01.2022 Being a Personal Trainer has not made me immune to the effects of 2020... Like you all I sat down, wrote what my fitness & training goals to give me something to motivation me & then you all know what happened!! Let’s not forget , , fights in the supermarkets.... Injuries came as I went from being super active & barely sitting down to working from my in an apartment which kept getting smaller & smaller each week! In lockdown 1 I put 6 kgs on from March to June. I was , it stressed me, while trying to stay upbeat for my clients as well as supporting our community of members. Lockdown 2 I started an 8 Week Challenge which started in July which helped increase the motivation. Now I am approaching a weight loss of 7kgs. I have set my goals for 2021 & I am ready to put this year in the past, literally!! I will never complain about going to the gym ever again . Just to finish I would to wish every one of you reading this a wonderful & safe & New Year. I look forward to seeing what you all achieve in 2021!! 16.01.2022 Following the VIC Government mandated directive, masks are back as of 5pm today, and will need to be worn when moving throughout the club & training at low intensity. 16.01.2022 YES!! We are back AGAIN! As per today’s announcement our doors will reopen tomorrow from 6am! Unless exempt, please wear a face mask into the gym and continue to do so unless you’re out of breath or training at high intensity!!... Please remember to bring your towel and use it whilst training. Please use the hand sanitiser upon entry to the gym Please use the hygiene stations provided to sanitise and wipe down machines and benches before and after use!! The club will return to 24/7 Let’s get back on track to smash some goals!

03.01.2022 Cardio Options Rower Edition Want to some extra calories then adding cardio will get your body burning the excess BODY FAT.... Just 20mins on the rower will get the body warmed up, your rate up into the fat burning zone. Here are some tips to set the rower up. Make sure you adjust the feet so that you can use the power in your legs. Have the straps secure across the instep if your feet. Keep your shoulders back, down & chest high. The first part of the action is to drive through your legs. When your hands are over your knees the pull using your back, shoulders, biceps. Keep your core engaged & control your breathing. (Breathe out as you drive back, breathe in as you use your legs to come back in to the start of the motion). Creating a safe way to workout they don’t require a spotter so you can safely push out that extra 1 or 2 repetitions.... Like our Pin loaded Chest Press can give you the pump of a bench press. However in peak times it may be difficult to get access to a bench or the power racks this machine can help. For those who wish to work on your strength for push ups & upper body strength this will definitely help!! Watch this video on how to set up the Chest Press.
