25.01.2022 Dear Members, The third Australia New Zealand Marine Biotechnology Society conference will be held in April in Sydney. Please see attached the call for abstracts. There is still time to submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation as the date for this has been extended to 11th February 2019. ... For more information and to submit and abstract please go to: https://anzmbs.asn.au/2019-conference/ To get membership discount you must pay up as a member of the Society, you can do this by accessing the form on the website. Payment is still by bank transfer. Note on memberships. At the moment we have no Secretary of the Society since this position was vacated last year by Shirley Sorokin who has moved to another job, outside the field of biotechnology. Many memberships are lapsed, but Shirley has passed on a list of those that have not. Please let me know if you are unsure. Please forward information about the conference to your colleagues and students and we look forward to seeing you in Sydney. 11.01.2022 Call for submissions Special Issue for 3rd ANZMBS Conference Marine Drugs and JMSE are pleased to announce a joint Special Issue, hosting contributions from 2019 ANZMBS conference. Authors are invited to submit papers on a wide range of topics related to marine biotechnology. We will consider original research articles and novel reviews. Attendees are encouraged to read carefully the Aims and Scope of the two journals, webpages (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/marinedrugs/about and https://www.mdpi.com/journal/JMSE/about), to decide which journal is suitable for their submissions. Manuscripts will go through strict peer-review before publication. The submission deadline is 31 October 2019.
