We have engaged experts in the field of Surgery, Medicine, Dietetics, Nursing and Psychology to join us for what will be a great opportunity to learn, network and catch up with colleagues and friends. The program will ...provide opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning and collaboration that transcends what many other meetings can provide. 23.01.2022 ANZMOSS is very excited to announce that applications are open for the 2019 ANZMOSS / Medtronic Travelling Scholarships. Total value of scholarships is $16,500 (including GST). Final number of scholarships available will be determined upon receiving all applications. Eligibility Criteria... The applicant must be a member of ANZMOSS at the time of submitting their application. Travelling scholarships are open to all ANZMOSS membership types. All applicants are required to provide specific details of their planned visit to the International Conference in question (1 page), including proposed itinerary, explicit details of work and/or study to be undertaken and envisaged benefits of this activity. Details of any financial support or funding already secured (eg research grants, sponsorship and / or other grants) and the proposed use of the funds should also be included. Please note that additional funding from external bodies may affect selection. Please check your emails for details sent today

04.01.2022 We hope that you and all your families are safe and well. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented effect on all us, and on our Communities. The effect is not limited to the health consequences, but includes major social and economic impact that will affect us all for many years to come. It is important that we stand together at times like these. In that spirit, the ANZMOSS board have decided to extend all ANZMOSS memberships for an extra year. This means that al...l ANZMOSS memberships renewal fees and new applications, paid in 2020 only, will now have membership for the period 1st March 2020 to 28th February 2022. We hope that in some small way this helps all our members during these uncertain times. The Association is currently looking at ways to still provide education to our members and we welcome any feedback and suggestions. These are uncertain times for us all at the moment. You will have seen today an email circulated regarding guidelines for emergency Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery. As more information is generated we will be keeping our members updated with COVID-19.
