20.01.2022 The 2018 conference will be held at the historic Brunswick Masonic Centre in Brunswick Melbourne Australia between the 23 and 26 of August 2018. Brunswick is named after Caroline, Duchess of Brunswick, wife of King George IV of England. It founded in 1846 by Thomas Wilkinson who built a house in the area. Melbourne, Brunswick is currently known for its local bohemian culture, strong arts community and large student population, owing to its proximity to the University of Mel...bourne and RMIT University, the latter of which's Brunswick campus is located within the suburb. Brunswick's main thoroughfare and commercial strip is Sydney Road, which runs north-south as the continuation of Royal Parade and which several kilometres north of Brunswick becomes the Hume Freeway. 14.01.2022 The spirit of Masonic education is alive and well in Melbourne! The Lodge of Commerce 837 was very pleased to host a presentation by WBro Nik Sakellaropoulos on the catechetical lectures, along with a panel discussion by two other The Victorian Lodge of Research No 218 members, WBro David Pederick and WBro Lewis Allan. WBro Nik will return to Commerce in November to continue the discussion.

09.01.2022 The Australian and New Zealand Masonic Research Council biennial conference is to be in Melbourne, Australia from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th August 2018. The 2018 conference will showcase the best of local and international Masonic researchers, including Bro Michel Jaccard from the Swiss Alpina Research Group live via Skype and Br Dr Mike Kearsley, 2014 Prestonian Lecturer, presenting a paper. Con-current events will hopefully include presentations by the Knights Templar St...udy Circle, the Holden Research Circle, Masonic education initiatives and a meeting of the Victorian Lodge of Research. The Australian and New Zealand Masonic Research Council (ANZMRC) brings together 25 Freemasons’ research lodges and study groups throughout Australian and New Zealand, with a network associate members throughout the World.
