I had a Phillipino man by the name of Chris call me from a silent telenumber yesterday who very reluctantly divulged that he was not working from a ANZ bank office in Manila, Phillipines but rather from his home. I asked him "How is my private data possibly protected from the rest of your family friends viewing it ?" To which he replied " I can assure you we have security measures in place to prevent this". I asked him to tell me abut these security measures to which he he got rather angry and refused to do so. He then went on to tell me that I should get used to this idea as it is the "New Normal" with banking. See more

The UN IPCC gives humanity only HALF a chance of mitigating civilisation collapse if we can halve global emissions by 2030. HALF a chance is not good enough for any of us. Already, we are at about 1.1 degrees warming. Even if we stopped emissions tomorrow, were locked in for at least a further 0.6 degrees of lagged heating.
