24.01.2022 Congrats to all involved in making today an outstanding event. Over the next week we will share a series of posts about the day before going back to regular posts about the story behind each tree. This last post of the day celebrates one of the highlights for me which was the dedication of a tree for the 180 locals who missed out on a tree 100 years ago due to a lack of funds.

21.01.2022 It’s all happening next Saturday 11th Of August. Starting at Midday at the Eastern end of The Avenue Of Honour there will be a brief commemoration to acknowledge the 100th Anniversary Of the establishment of the Avenue. Then a 2 hour closure of the road where among other things you will be able to follow members of the Light Horse Brigade as they head west into town and observe families and community members placing wreaths on trees.
