17.01.2022 Back out in the Excel this weekend a few improvements hopefully we can move up the grid a few more spots

06.01.2022 Everyone is getting on the Excel bandwagon!

06.01.2022 First hit out in the NSW Excel State championship. Was a great turn out with 33 Excels entered for round 4 of the NSW State Series. Qualifying went well with a 6th place start for race 1. Race 1 held 5th place for a few laps dropping back to 6th place late in the race.... Race 2. I missed 3rd gear off the start & lost a few spots fell back to 9th by race end loosing spots with issues selected 3rd gear. The boys found an issue with the gearshift and where able to fix for the last race. Race 3 had a great starting making a few spots in the opening laps while in a battle for 5th spot we copped a hit in the left hand door which popped the car out of gear loosing a few seconds to the guys in front. With 4 laps remaining we where able to chase down 6th place with a pass into turn one giving us 6th place in the final and 6th overall. Really pleasing result for our first run in the series with plenty of improvements to come from the car and driver. Big thanks to Mark & Jason for all their effort on the day as well as everyone else that helped get me back on the race track after 3 years on the sidelines. Thanks to Liquid Intelligence, Motorsport Parts Australia, Big Dog Nation, Shylan Motorsport Services (last minute help locating some fantastic Intima Performance Brake Pads Would love to get some more supporters on board to help us push towards the top 3

04.01.2022 Big thanks to Big Dog Nation adding the final touches to our Series X3 NSW - Hyundai Excel Racing car before the next round on the 21st July at Sydney Motorsport Park great to have some support from a great local company. It’s my first race after a few years away can’t wait to get amongst it again in one of the most competitive categories in Australian Motorsport. Excel racing has grown rapidly in Australia over the past few years looking forward to the challenge.
