25.01.2022 Dances taught this week:- 'Saying Goodbye' (Joshua Talbot) nice flowing waltz with (3) easy re-starts, just a sad song. 'Sugar Sugar' (Gordon Elliott) very easy basic beginner dance with no tags/restarts to a lovely piece of music back in the 60's. 'Love You Now' a good improver dance that goes well to the music with one easy restart. Stay cool during our upcoming hot days and safe. Cheers Carol xx

22.01.2022 BURNIE BRAE - Last Sunday at my social there was a lovely room full of white, one of my favourite colours. Congratulations to the winners of the Raffles and the Lucky Door Prizes (glass Santa Boot). A suggestion was given to me that they were going to put lights in their boot and use it as a table decoration. What a great idea, inexpensive and colourful. Thank you to those who attended the social, and the distances that you travelled, as the weather was a bit of a concern in... some areas. Special thanks to all my helpers before and after these events as I couldn't do without you. (especially Jenny, Helen, Lorraine, Bob, Chris and Lee). I would like to also take this opportunity to thank those who supported me during 2020 and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy 2021. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Stay Safe. Cheers Carol.xx See more

04.01.2022 BURNIE BRAE - CLASS BREAK-UP PARTIES. Monday and Tuesday were the last classes for 2020 and would like to THANK YOU for your support and friendship during a very challenging year. It was a lovely surprise receiving gifts, money, lovely home-made card, fudge and rocky road, knowing how much time and effort goes into making these items. Such a very personal touch. Thank you to Burnie Brae Management Team and Staff for all their support during these changes. Wishing you all at Burnie Brae a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2021. Please stay safe on our roads wherever your journeys may take you. Looking forward to seeing you again from Monday 12th January 2021, or at my upcoming Sunday Social.. Stay Safe.....Love Carol xx

02.01.2022 Dances taught this week :- '6 Feet Apart' (Tim Gauci) great dance to good music with two easy re-starts. "Perfect Memory' (Joshua Talbot) smooth flowing dance also good music with one re-start and two easy tags. Both these dances finish at the front and also the last two dances taught for 2020. A nice way to end our very challenging year, so now my classes can enjoy social dancing, and remembering the dances taught this year. Try and stay cool during our hot spell. Cheers Carol....xx
