24.01.2022 Complementing our locally manufactured telescopic mast systems, APAC have commissioned a standardised range pneumatic mast systems to allow the delivery of a cost effective air-operated mast. The AIR series of pneumatic pump-up mast are available in 9.5, 12, 15, and 18 metre heights and are capable of supporting payloads up to 160 kg. 09.01.2022 Today was the first day of patrol season and our Surf Life Savers are more important than ever - not only keeping beach goers safe, but bringing people together... at a time for isolation, and helping to promote our beaches as the best in the world to visit! #supportsunshinecoast This morning I officially handed over a new patrol trailer, supported by a Federal Government grant of $9,000 as well as sponsorship from Henzells Agency and APAC Infrastructure to the first patrol at Metropolitan Caloundra SLSC. It was terrific to finally be out of isolation and into another perfect Sunshine Coast day. Where else could you want to be? Thank you to President Jim and all the members at Metropolitan Caloundra SLSC and to all our life savers for their vital work this season. I’ll be out on my own first patrol of the season very soon!

06.01.2022 These photos show the process of welding our hinge mechanisms to the main body of our AL500 Tripod Lattice Tower. First the base pieces are tacked onto the main body, they are then heated to 160c which we check using a precision infrared thermometer. Once we have achieved our desired temperature, the bases are welded to the main body using a 3 run fillet. The final picture shows the completed main body before it is sent off to be galvanised.
