25.01.2022 It's been undeniably slow going here at Apax but we are still moving! We have a few ideas in the works which will be brought to the online table in the coming weeks. We want to encourage and create a diverse, multi-disciplinary community, using the space at Apax as a hub for ideas, creativity and exploration. We hope to empower those involved to be the best they can be and, in turn, learn how we can be the best that we can be. We hope to be more than just a creative studio ...space, encouraging political and social conversations and change. We want to learn and encourage the sharing of all kinds of knowledge in an attempt to create a trustworthy space to explore and deliver ideas. Sustainable practice and environmental protection being a high priority!

These companies have shown... up on Djabwurrung country today without Traditional Owner consent to carry out work on the Western Highway Duplication. The priority is bodies on country defending the land, if you are absolutely unable to consider heading to an office of one of these companies and registering your protest in person / sitting in. 01.01.2022 I want to introduce you all to a new space that I have started leasing that is too big for just me! It is a large warehouse in Preston with lovely natural lighting, a large, flexible studio area and a courtyard in the works. The whole space is approx 250m... I will be a live in artist and also be running a new, and until now unannounced, online clothes store with my sister Heloise - more details down the track. I want to invite anyone who needs professional or creative space to contact me with ideas and thoughts about what and how you want to use the space. Let me know what youre thinking and we can chat about making it happen! More details I really want this space to encourage productive, collaborative work across different creative disciplines. With a focus on helping each other out by bringing a fresh perspective to each others work and having a bit of creative support around while working. Available for long or short term projects. studio space (photographers, designers, installation artist, painters, writers) exhibitions pop-up stores record launch a place to study a space to test visuals, installations and sound for events an office + plenty more (all of these possibilities will be dependant on whos booked space for when and curated so as everyone knows whats happening when, so hit me up soon and we can work out how you can use the space and what youll need etc) The space isnt yet ready to go, I am still working on a few fit-outs and repairs etc, but it shouldnt be more than 2-4 weeks now. I wanted to put the word out there now so that if any of you have any expertise or advice about about fit-outs, where to find materials or furniture please hit me up, any assists will be much appreciated!
