If your looking for a quality morning coffee on either of the contest mornings, the "Boater Cafe" has you covered there as well. 04.01.2022 The 2016 Australian Pipe Band Championships, held at Knox Grammar School on Saturday and Sunday 1-2 October will be live streamed to the world. The livestream will be available through pipebanned.com The stream will be taken by Pipebanned.com / 5 Stream, an Australia company with extensive experience streaming national and international events for other genres. Pipebanned.com will be assisted in the stream by the Knox Grammar School tech crew who will be providing some extra camera positions, adding some extra information based content to the feed as well as making the feed available in the screens inside the school’s Boater Café as well as on the main score board on Knox 1.

04.01.2022 Car Parking for APBC 2016 There will be three car parks in operation at Knox Grammar School on both Saturday and Sunday 1 & 2 October. Borambil Street Woodville Ave ... Lower Gillespie Please refer to the event map for exact entry and exit points: https://apbc2016.files.wordpress.com//2016-knox-senior-sch Parking in these car parks will cost $5 additionally we will have the event program for sale at the car park entrance for $5. There is no admission fee to the event. Borambil Street will be closed during the competition proper to offer bands improved access from the tuning are and the main ground. As such, it would be beneficial if this car park is used first. The car park is undercover and is under the tennis courts. Borambil Street can be accessed when travelling in both directions on the Pacific Highway. Only the top section of the Woodville Ave car park will be in use for APBC. The middle section is reserved for coaches and the bottom section is the assembly point and tune up area for the street march at the end of the day. Woodville Avenue cannot be accessed when traveling North on the Pacific Highway. When travelling in this direction, you can turn right one street further and then right into Woodville Avenue. If you are dropping people off at Knox for APBC, Woodville Ave is a suitable point. Lower Gillespie can be accessed from Young Street and will only be used in good weather. Additional to the car parks, there is a lot of street parking available around the school, including on the Highway, as well as in the streets on the opposite side of the Highway from the school. Please check the street signs for any restrictions. The Pacific Highway is the main road north out of Sydney, and there is likely to be a significant amount of traffic on and around this road because of the long weekend. Please allow plenty of time to get to Knox if you are travelling by car.

03.01.2022 http://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au//double-demerits.ht DRIVE SAFELY If you are driving to APBC this weekend, please remember that "double demerits" are already in force in NSW - Please drive safely.
