24.01.2022 Is your pool in a high calcium area. Does your pool have an aggregate type finish. Does the salt cell require cleaning more regularly than monthly. Check out the H2Flo Chlorinator range. This chlorinator works with mineral or normal salts and with its reverse polarity will cut the amount of cleans the cell requires meaning that the chlorinator will be working at capacity more often. It also can handle different electricity tariffs with its built in battery back up. I have been installing these now for over 4 years and have yet to have to replace a cell or get any repairs done on the unit. Plus its Australian.

20.01.2022 Dont trust the pressure guage on your filter. Whether you have a sand, cartridge or de filter clean the filter on a regular basis (or have us do it) to ensure the filter is operating at its optimum. Pressure guages can fail and aren't always accurate so a regular filter clean will help keep the pool sparkling, and help prevent damage to the filter.

04.01.2022 Unless you've got a pool maintenance person coming daily there is no way to guarantee a perfect pool. With differing weather conditions and usage rates affecting chlorine and ph levels a pool needs attention. Hotter weather than usual, storms or higher usage will effect chlorine levels. Look at your pool water daily, check water levels, listen for your filtration system running daily and test your chlorine and ph levels at least weekly.

03.01.2022 Water level. With the winds around lately, make sure you keep an eye on your pools water level. If the level drops too low your pump may draw air into the system and cause it to run dry. This will damage your filtration equipment. Consider getting a solar blanket for your pool to cut down on evaporation and make sure your water level is adequate for your filtration equipment, chlorinators, and automatic cleaners.

01.01.2022 The winds have finally dropped. In the 2 days since i have been finding low water levels due to evaporation and cleaners not working because of clogged baskets and cleaner 'mouths'. Pumps running dry or under stress because of the low water levels and full baskets. Don't leave it to long before you check on your pool or have us come around and check for you.
