25.01.2022 Wow 2020 is almost over! What a non event year. 1 show only - Illawarra Toy and Hobby Fair. Some positive news has come about, but will be announced in the new year. 16.01.2022 A week overdue but a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Brisbane last Sunday (3rd). A massive thanks goes out to Nissan Arena and their staff for providing a state of the art venue, our vendors, and the sponsors. This was our last show for 2019 and 2020 dates should be out in the next 3-4 weeks. Just keep an eye out on our page and website, but we will leave you with our first show for 2020 by updating our cover photo.

14.01.2022 It has come to that time of the year again to thank you for your support of the shows throughout 2019. Whether you are a member of the general public, a seller, venue operator, or sponsor, the shows would never exist without your support. Each state and territory offers some uniqueness and different collectables each to their own. We are incredible humble and grateful that this opportunity exists to bring the collectors together so everyone can enjoy their hobbies and build t...heir collections. The 2020 schedule will be finalised by the middle of January, but in the meantime you can check out the return of the Illawarra Toy and Hobby Fair on 9th February (already half full). 12.01.2022 1 WEEK TO GO for the Illawarra Toy and Hobby Fair. Show is sold out with 55 tables of toy and hobby collectable goodies. There is truly a enormous range from; big range of diecast model vehicles, trading cards, dolls and teddy bears, anime, comic books, and pop culture items such as Star Wars, and Lego. Quality sellers and quality items, something not to be missed. FInally, tomorrow the bookings open for Brisbane and Canberra, booking forms and details should on our website from midday!

10.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying/enjoyed their long weekend! We have almost finalised the schedule and bookings for 2020. At the moment: 9th February Illawarra Toy and Hobby Fair (5 tables left) 3rd May Brisbane Toy and Hobby Fair 23rd May Canberra Toy and Hobby Fair 8th March show in Albury has been postponed due to club renovations and rescheduled for 2021.... 10.01.2022 1 WEEK TO GO till the Brisbane Toy and Hobby Fair aka The Toy Capital of OZ. Don't forget the new venue at NISSAN ARENA (changed from QSNC). The response was overwhelming, that we had to expand onto another court and ended up with plenty of brand new sellers as well as the regular ones. This will be a show not to miss. Don't forget to check out the event page for it to see what's on offer #toycapital #brisbane

10.01.2022 What an interesting last 6 weeks for Australia and the world. Not in your wildest dreams could you say the top 3 collectables would be: 1. Toilet paper 2. Hand sanitisers 3. Tissue paper... Everyone and everything has literally been impacted and this includes us and the shows From last Monday 16th March the situation for public gatherings changed at least 3 times. What really changed for us was a beautiful hashtag (which is at the bottom of the email) released on Wednesday from various healthcare workers and they formed a group which is at the bottom of this post. Unfortunately nobody still has clear answers about this virus, with no confirmed vaccine in sight. The reason for the hashtag is Australia and the global hospital and healthcare systems simply couldn't cope with a full scale outbreak. The bottom line is we don't want to be held responsible for the spread of infections or potential loss of life, so we have decided to postpone our May shows in Brisbane and Canberra, and Melbourne will have a decision made in the coming weeks. Not knowing the outcome over the coming weeks and months it is hard to reschedule future show dates EVERYONE is effected, everyone has different situations with different PROBLEMS, it's not just an individual thing, EVERYONE will LOSE something out of this, and if we all operate with the battlers mind set that my situation is worse than yours, or there's no solutions and ignore the information it will prolong the situation further. There's plenty of information out there, as well as compassion, empathy and assistance. Let's listen and just stay #staythefuckhome

09.01.2022 What should have been 1 week to go till the Toy Capital of Australia - Brisbane Toy and Hobby is of course not running. Thank you for all your messages regarding the show, how you miss it, and will continue to support when it returns. We will definitely miss it, it's an important part of buying, selling, and trading for the collectable industry. 07.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) update: At this stage it is only going to effect the Brisbane (3rd May) and Canberra (23rd May), which are still scheduled to go ahead until further notice. We have been given advice to follow and do have plans in place, but will advise in the coming week about the status of the shows. Stay tuned. #cornavirus #covid19 #thecure

04.01.2022 A week late, but really wanted to take the time to thank everyone who braved the weather to come out to the Illawarra Toy and Hobby Fair last Sunday. Despite the shocking weather the turnout was so much better than expected. We all hoped you managed to purchase something worthwhile. Many thanks to our sponsors; TLA NRL trading cards, Banter Toys, and Classic Carlectables, the local media Illawarra Mercury and Wave FM 96.5 these local retailers whom you should go check out Kia...ma Toyworld Brickiez4u HARS Aviation Museum - Albion Park who helped promote our show and provide lucky door prizes, and MRGT Photography for the MC and happy snaps. Finally a huge thank you to the SES for navigating us out of Albion Park as it became completely blocked with flooding. A normal 10 min journey turned into one full hour.
