09.01.2022 ***Instagram Takeover*** Welcome Hayley Atherton @hayleyatherton1 Hair & Make-up Designer As well as working with the most wonderful talented artists, actors and creative, my career highlight would have to be being nominated for an AACTA award for Hounds of Love in 2017 and most of all being able to work, travel and have a family whilst doing what I love.... Born into a family of hairdressers in Manchester, at age 14 Hayley Atherton was already working on Saturdays in her parent’s salon. After completing her GNVQ in hairdressing, traveling the world and then undertaking further study to achieve her ITEC in fashion, theatre, media make-up, she landed her first full time gig on The Tribe in New Zealand. From there she worked on many productions in New Zealand before moving to Western Australia in 2007. Hayley had her first break as a designer on Stone Bros, before working on a wide range of productions across Australia.
