22.01.2022 Reserve Bank dropping rates by another 0.25% is a slap in the face! You don't stimulate the economy by dropping interest rate, it should be the absolute last measure. Instead the government should loosen up its fiscal policies. If you want to have more people employed, get rid of payroll tax that punishes business owners for employing people! If you want to speed up the property growth, abolish stamp duty! The banks are and APRA are basically telling people to stop spending o...therwise they can't afford to buy property, pretty sure that directly contravenes what the reserve bank wants. This is absolutely absurd! The Victorian government are billions of dollars in the hole because the lack of state revenue, how are they going to fund any of these infrastructure promises. Last thing we want is for projects to come to a stop because the government have run out of money and going into further deficit from borrowings. See more

18.01.2022 I have worked in numerous countries such as China, England and Turkey across various roles. Most notably, I was a Senior Business Banker at the NAB for 3.5 years and 8.5 years in the banking finance sector. I have a strong property background, but I am also across varying industries ranging from Retail to Wholesale to Manufacturing. I was the relationship manager for Brunetti’s which is one of the most iconic Melbourne brands. I saw an opportunity to get into Finance Broking due to the ever changing landscape of banks. Too many times have relationship bankers moved on from their duties and the only people that suffer are the customers. I too was guilty of this, however, I decided to do something about it. I couldn’t stand the fact my old clients were still calling me because their current banker didn’t understand or want to understand their business and I was powerless to help them due to internal bank politics. 18.01.2022 Why is it that everytime I meet a new client, their biggest reason for wanting to change is the lack of communication and service. I find it so baffling that with all the technology at our disposal one can't find the time to return a phone call, answer an email or just send a text back. In a commodity based world, the only point of difference is people, yet it appears that people are the first thing that gets neglected. I'm not claiming to be the best broker out there, nor was I the best banker, but what I pride myself on is always having the courage to call someone back and always follow up on queries, regardless of good, bad or no news. So for all you banks and bankers out there delivering on poor customer experience, I say keep up the good work because it's putting my daughter through college.

18.01.2022 Hi friends. I just received an sms text today from "Commbank" telling me that my account has been suspended. This is a fishing text and it looks very legitimate. Please do not be fooled, stay vigilant and make sure you think before you act. Cyber hacking is getting more and more advanced so please always ask yourself the question "Is this legit?" if you are unsure, don't open it.

14.01.2022 Today was a proud day for me. I have managed to save a customer from being forced out of a bank and sell their family home. A customer who had been with the same bank for over 40 years and was told that the bank no longer wanted them as a client despite meeting all of their obligations. Client had a dream of starting up their own business, put everything on the line, but business did not go according to plan. Client reached out to the bank for some assistance, sold their inve...stment property to reduce their debts and got a full time job. They had done everything humanly possible to ensure that they continued to pay their loans only for the bank to say that it's not good enough. Despite the failed business, the bank refused to convert their business loan back as a home loan and despite my client obtaining a full time job as a General Manager of a national company, the bank refused to extend the facilities because they claim that the client can't afford the loan because they have over inflated their living expenses. So either sell up or get out was the message. Well today I managed to refinance their loans out from the bank, along with consolidating some other debts, paid out their credit cards and provided them with some extra money enough to pay for tertiary education for their children. On top of this, the interest rate obtained was better than this banks and the overall repayment was $3k less than what they're currently paying, so not only did the customer get their desired outcome, they can save and build towards the future. As for the bank, you will be hearing from AFCA because the way you have handled these customers is appalling. If an individual had done this, they would be jailed, so I really hope you get what's coming to you. You almost destroyed my clients life, put them through 2 years of hell for absolutely no reason. Shame on you!
