18.01.2022 An interesting engagement over the next few months. Facilitating the Compliance element of the transition of Port Hedland International Airport from local government to a lease company. Significant amounts of coordination with Federal Government organisations.

13.01.2022 Today marked the successful completion of the transfer (by long term lease) of the Port Hedland International Airport from the Town of Port Hedland to a consortium (PHIA Operating Company). We were a significant component of this transfer process as we managed all aspects of the compliance requirements (Aerodrome Certification, Manual suite development, Security requirements - TSP, Screening Authority etc). We are proud of our achievement and look forward to the possibility of engagement with the new Aerodrome Management. This ends a 7 month process that was trying at times but very rewarding. Looking forward to the next big task.

12.01.2022 This is a great step forward. All we need now is programming to make it impossible to fly above prescribed heights. http://news.aviation-safety.net//drone-manufacturer-dji-t/

11.01.2022 Have spent the last 2 weeks back in the operational world as Airport Manager on Cocos (Keeling) Islands. It has been one of those jobs that has involved everything from bad weather, runway closures, pavement works, maintenance, driving heavy plant and machinery, desk work, baggage handling, visitor information, mowing and wildlife dispersal with firearms, coordination with the military, use of old skills as a BoM authorised weather observer (to assist an aircraft in landing between bad weather) and managing security issues. A pretty busy 2 weeks and great to have the opportunity to be operational again for a while.

11.01.2022 So. 6 months after commencing our Compliance Management arrangements with Port Hedland International Airport, we have established a second long term Compliance Management arrangement with Emerald Airport (QLD). We are excited about the future.

08.01.2022 So. Great news for our company. Today we start a long term contract with Port Hedland International Airport as their Consultant Aviation Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager. We are looking forward to assisting the airport to maintain and improve its compliance across all areas of its Aviation Operations.

08.01.2022 Outbound to PHE. Day trip.
