22.01.2022 Apex Racing Team have completed their day of preparation at the 2019 Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship - Round 5 practice day. Lots of niggling little issues present with the teams Gebert-9 today, and the team is working their way through them; so weve ended up with some progress towards having a fun day on-track tomorrow! 18.01.2022 Race 1 has been run and won at the Formula Vee Australia National Challenge at Queensland Raceway, with unofficial results below. 1 Formula Vee Tasmanias Wade Mclean of McLean Racing came home 3rd in the highly competitive 1600cc class, in a top-5 battle covered by just over 1 second at the line. Fellow Tassie racers Richard Gray and Chris Neil have taken P2 and P3 respectively in the 1200cc class; in just as close a fight; the top 3 covered by less than 3 tenths of a s...econd Race 2 coming up later today to round out the Saturday action. 2

18.01.2022 Race 2 of the Formula Vee Australia National Challenge has had some unofficial results come through, with thanks to Natsoft Race Results & Events. 2 It appears Formula Vee Tasmanias McLean Racings Wade Mclean has suffered a set back in his bid to add a 1600cc class National Championship to his multiple 1200cc class titles, with a DNF result. Meanwhile in the 1200cc class, Richard Gray again pushed Matthew Pearce RIGHT to the line, bringing home 2nd place only about a ten...th of a second behind P1! Our other fellow Tasmanian competitor Chris Neil came home what appears to be a comfortable P3; the final 1200 Vee to maintain the lead-lap status across the line. Keep an eye out for further results when the Formula Vee Australia National Challenge continues tomorrow from Queensland Raceway.

Race 3 has been run and won (unofficial results below). ... Mclean has had another unfortunate DNF; meaning he's likely starting from near-rear-of-field of the 1600cc class for the upcoming final later today. Richard Gray and Chris Neil remain in hot pursuit of the 1200cc class National Champion honour, again coming home P2 and P3 respectively; the top three covered by just over 1/2 a second! Who will take home the honours come the National Challenge Final?!

05.01.2022 The final of the Formula Vee Australia National Challenge is in the books and we have our National Champions for 2019! Simon Pace took out the 1600cc class in his Checkmate, while Mathew Pearce brought home 1200cc class honours. Formula Vee Tasmanias Wade Mclean of McLean Racing made great headway into the field, having started from the back of the field, ending up in P8... in the 9-CAR-BATTLE for the win ... Fellow Tasmanian competitors Chris Neil and Richard Gray took home P2 and P3 in the final respectively, with Neil pushing champion Pearce, RIGHT to the line! All in all, what weve seen is another fantastic weekend of close racing put on by Formula Vee Australia and hosts Formula Vee Queensland; well done to everyone involved!
