13.01.2022 Time to pause and appreciate our pollinators! It’s pollinator week here in Australia. One of our favourite weeks of the year because this is a wonderful opportunity to talk about bees, a most efficient pollinator, but also open the discussion to those lesser known. In fact, Australia has a lot of wild pollinator insects that are often overlooked. - We know we have around 2000 native species of bees, but there are also butterflies, beetles, ants and many more insects, some of which we need more information on, hence one of the great things you can do this week is get involved in the wild pollinator count. https://wildpollinatorcount.com - Fundamental to our agricultural industry, a healthy biodiversity, and our ecosystem, take a moment this week to learn more about our native pollinators.
