25.01.2022 UKUENDO In my last year of Primary School my class and I got to learn a bit of Japanese language, culture, arts, everything . It was my favourite year! Every morning before class began and every afternoon before the home bell rang, we’d say a scripted hello/goodbye to our teachershe wasn’t Japanese but LOVED Japan! Our favourite ending was on a Friday afternoon when we said our goodbye chant we got to end it with screaming Ukuendo!!! as loud as we could. Every Friday I still say the chant in my head and am still very excited that it’s the weekend ... even if I’m working . Some things just stick! Ending the night with some everlasting wreaths as I haven’t posted them in a while . Are you more a fan of the colourful or natural? I love me some colour but have been digging the naturals lately

25.01.2022 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Over the weekend, @brendanwoodsphoto and I celebrated a whole 10 years of marriage! Leading up to our anniversary I started searching for our wedding photos and came across a folder on my usb that I used to gather some inspiration images for how I’d like my wedding to look. When we got married, vintage and DIY was the ‘in’ thing haha although in saying that, I STILL vintage and DIY. So I thought I’d share some of the inspiration images and how it tu...rned out on the day via my blog. You can read more and see more images via @apocketfulofroses >> website link >> Journal >> My DIY Vintage Autumn Wedding. . At the time I was going to Uni and so I was ‘encouraged’ to give up the organising etc to my husband-to-be, his sister and a friend. I’m not sure how many people would give up that control but I have to say that they did an awesome job with the limited resources and small budget we had . Would I give up this level of control if I had to do it again? Probably not, because I wasn’t ‘allowed’ to see or know anything until the day of the wedding, so it did feel a bit like being a stranger at your own wedding . We also had a lot of help from family and friends to bring this day together so it felt wrong to not be contributing. BUT they really listened and incorporated my ideas and I can definitely see the many benefits: including less stress, less work and the element of surprise. . Being a Florist now, I see how small and simple weddings can be just as beautiful as larger, extravagant weddings. If you have the right people, atmosphere and delicious food, you really can't go wrong. P.S. I our incredible cake made by our über talented friendit was a chocolate brownie cake and it tasted amazing . @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

25.01.2022 BORN TO CREATE A little reminder that tomorrow is the last day for 20% off floral goodies (link in bio via @apocketfulofroses to my website). Thank you to everyone who has placed an order thus far! It’s an absolute delight to create beautiful things and send them off to their new homes . I feel absolutely grateful that I can *create* for work. I won’t lie, it has mega ups and downs and I have a butt load of images I haven’t yet sharedlike these from months ago!but I’...m embracing that I can do this at present . I’ve always loved to create... ever since I was a kid I was always writing (terrible ) poems or short stories, daydreaming about adventures, singing, painting, jewellery making, bakinganything and everything! Funny thing is I never saw creating as a serious job hence getting a Health Promotion degree! When I started to look inward and figure out the things I value, I realised that creating *is* my whole being. I truly believe that we are connected to our ancestors and a big part of my Polynesian heritage is creating . Knowledge being handed down and lots of practise, practise, practise. Being here and away from that has me longing for that tradition and connection but the love for it, desire and determination to learn and practise is still well and truly alive with me and in that way I feel deeply connected to my roots.

25.01.2022 BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS Is your phone FILLED with lots of photos of Mother Nature like mine? I thought I’d share some beauties I’ve captured thus far and hope it brightens you up, even if just a little . Feeling lots of emotions about the repercussions of COVID still but also gratitude for those beautiful moments that stop me in my tracks

24.01.2022 BLOOM ANYWAY Do negative comments affect you more than positive ones do? I don’t know why but this part of myself is hard to change . I realised the other day that I’ve gotten into this bad habit of overly teasing or making ‘funny’ negative comments about myself. A reason for this is that I’m a people pleaser and want everyone to like me ... even if that means dimming my light so I’ll be accepted. Only, it’s those who want you or allow you to dim your light that don’t wa...nt to accept you anyhow. I’m 30yo and I finally realise this and for some reason I cared whether these types of people liked me or not . . I’ve had some really mean friends who would belittle, defame and intentionally hurt me. It would bother me but I kept coming back for more . I thought that if I’d do A, B & C that things would change but putting myself down was never enough. It just drained the life right out of me and left me feeling terrible about myself with lots of broken pieces to glue back together and without their friendship, which is why I was doing that in the first place: acceptance. . I’m still gluing pieces back together but I’ve changed my circle of friends. I now see how important it is to build myself up from the inside no matter what’s going on externally. If this is happening to you, think of the wildflowers in the middle of nowhere still blooming whether we see them or not. Follow suit and bloom anyway. This thought helps me centre myself when I start to fumble .

24.01.2022 ON SLOWING DOWN Well hasn’t this year been a rollercoaster ride thus far? . How are you fairing? I’ve had a bit of revelation for myself. As we head into the quiet winter season, I’m giving myself permission to slow down and recuperate from all that has happened ... but this time properly slow down: my mind, my to-do list, work... and on the days I feel like doing something, I’m going to try to do something just because I enjoy it. Not for work or for any reason, just beca...use One of the things I’m keen to do more of is draw! It’s not a natural talent I have but I do think if I needed to, I could draw to save my own life so I guess I’m half way there but still need lotsa practise ! @alicelovesdrawing has definitely been an inspiration . She has the best tutorials on Insta you can use to help you practise and it’s mesmerizing watching her little videos . If your kids, nieces/nephews love to draw flowers, I think they’d love her stuff too and be able to follow her guides quite easily . Is there anyone with a similar account you’d recommend I follow? I’d love to know if so

23.01.2022 MENTAL WELLNESS Are you getting some daily fresh air and getting out amongst nature? I hope so! for your mental health . Anytime I go a little from being trapped inside the house too long, Brenny tells me to go outside, put my feet in the earth and get some Vitamin D it does me a world of good! We need that connection with the earth . . P.S. I’ve been receiving a lot of messages about Mother’s Day and what I’m offering. I should know definitively by the weekend once I get some mental space to get through some orders ~ I’ve been busily creating custom Pressed Flower Frames, which I’m loving doing . It’s really therapeutic .

23.01.2022 FLOWER EDUCATION Or FlowerEd . I asked you via my Insta stories if you’d like to learn more about flowers/florist industry/flower care and I got a resounding, yes! So it’s my mission to research, apply and share and if any of you in this little community have some knowledge to impart, then I absolutely encourage the sharing of information . . When writing up quotes for flower arrangements, I’ve noticed there are a lot of gaps in people’s knowledge about flowers/flower ...industry, which I’m sure is true for most industries. I certainly recall some uh-huh moments once I started my Floristry course . The right information can really make a difference to their vase life and your enjoyment . . So here goes! First one is about a bunch of flowers, which is one of many floristry products available. And guess what?! A bunch of flowers isn’t necessarily the same as an arrangement as you’ll see when you swipe across . I’ll create this hashtag #APRflowerEd so that as more information is presented, it can all be easily accessed and even saved in a folder on Insta. A lot of what I share will also be available on my site via journal . @ Spring Farm, NSW 2570

21.01.2022 HELLO WINTER Winter is truly upon us but I’m still hanging on to Autumn with a collection of fallen Japanese Maple leaves I’m not ready to part with drying in a bundle at my front step . I just love the colder seasons. It’s all about rugging up and slowing down. Even though I’ve got a tonne of things on my to do list, I’m trying to give myself this time to breathe a bit, get excited about work and get my health in check before busy season starts up again and it’s go go go . Sharing some pretties I haven’t yet shared: Everlasting Wreaths are one of my fave things to make . There may be some workshops and DIY kits in the works so you can create one too . @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

21.01.2022 HELLO SPRING This is basically the new me in Springtime . Before that it’s unshaven legs and sensitivity to light from hibernating . Ah Spring ... isn’t there a special air to Spring? It’s so filled with hope and excitement! Oh please let us have a great Spring and an even better Summer pleeeaasseee!!

18.01.2022 WREATH KITS I have DIY Christmas Wreath Kits on my site for all you DIY lovers like me out there! Plus an option to add extra embellishments like pine cones and lotus pods etc ~ see EXTRAS product page. I’ve also added my Everlastings Bloom Bar where you can buy dried and preserved materials By. The. Stem. and create your own Everlasting posy or vase arrangement . Tap @apocketfulofroses and the link in profile to check it out

17.01.2022 FLOWER-ED Allergies anyone? I forgot that whilst Spring means beautiful blooms it also means hay fever for some . I’m lucky that I don’t really get it but when I’ve been eating poorly I get an incredibly itchy nose and sneeze a lot for a few days so I *sort of* get it but not to the full extent some experience it and it’s definitely not brought on by Spring! My mum and a few siblings get it so I really feel for you! . This week’s #APRflowerEd is all about how to care for a... sweet smelling flower called Freesia . You might be lucky enough to have them growing in your garden! I’ve had a bunch of Freesias sitting on my table for a few days now and each time I walk into the room I can smell them immediately . I’ll often grab the whole vase and bring it close to my nose and just inhale deeply and it makes me feel so good! I feel like Freesias have lost a bit of attention and are under used at the moment so I’m giving them 15 seconds of fame and have committed myself to use them a bit more in my work Swipe across to read more about them! and as usual save it in a folder or you can follow the hashtag to refer to them at a later date! See more

14.01.2022 BABY SHOWER Who else is loving seeing the cherry blossoms in season right now? I love the pink blossoms but I think the white has just stolen my heart . Rebecca asked for one side to be pink and one side blue and I think the blossom brought harmony to the arrangement, elevated it and gave it some movement . Thanks for the challenge Rebecca

13.01.2022 FLOWER CARE Are you a fan of the Iceland Poppy?! Swipe across to learn more about them and how to care for them . I’ve also added a little viddy at the end to show how I carefully take off the hooded calyx. It’s not necessary to do this but it means they’re open around the same time and I get to enjoy their beauty sooner before their petals drop . One thing I forgot to mention is that they come in many colours and they have a slight papery look to them as you can see in the pictures. They’re a delight to watch bloom albeit a short amount of time. #APRflowerEd is the hashtag I’m using to collate any floral tips and information I share. I’m thinking Wednesdays will be #APRflowerEd days . You can click the little ribbon icon to save this and add into a FlowerEd (flower education) folder .

13.01.2022 OMA’S FLOWERS I had this dream with Brenny’s Oma in it. We were at a church or some grand building and she pulled me aside so we could walk away from the crowds and chat, as we normally did . We found ourselves sitting inside a room where food was waiting to be consumed. All I remember is while she spoke, I cried. I don’t remember a thing she said! I can hear her in the heavens above exclaiming, oh, Rrrosie!!! because she was probably trying to tell me something and I ...was too caught up in my emotions to hear . Brenny and I are so lucky that we got to have our very last conversation with her (despite her sometimes speaking Dutch , we were one of the lucky ones she spoke to in English which of course I recorded and treasure ) before she passed and before the Covid-19 restrictions. We are very grateful for our last moments together ... though there are days when it still stings and we miss her a little bit more than we already do . A while back I said I’d share some pics from her garden I’ve collected over the past decade I’ve known her. We love Oma dearly and are glad we have lots of memories and some pictures to look back on .

13.01.2022 MY JOURNEY HERE I think it’s interesting where life takes you. Ever since I was 18yo, I’d wanted to be a Midwife... I completed two years of my Midwifery journey and ended up going with my gut and switching gearsI still finished with a degree in Health Science: Health Promotion as I really wanted to pave an unfamiliar path for my family. If I can do it, you can absolutely do it . And now, here I am, a Florist . . I didn’t plan on being here and still have a passion for h...ealth and Midwifery but for once I can finally say that I’m comfortable where I am. I’m refraining from saying that I’m on the right path because each step of my journey has been awesomealbeit challenging at timesand I wouldn’t change anything. Plus, I’ve learnt so so much . . Towards the end of my degree in 2015, I volunteered a few hours to create some floral arrangements for a church function. Then the following year, nearing my graduation, my husband suggested I do something creative for a bit of a change. So I decided on Floristry and in March of 2016 I started this Instagram account for floral appreciation. . . These photos are from the very day in March that I enrolled at Pearson’s School of Floristry, to commence in April 2016. My husband was taking photos for a Florist and I got to come along and spend hours watching magic happen with some gorgeous flowers . Trust the journey you’re on, no matter how messy it may seem. It’s your life and know that knowledge is never wasted. So grateful for a wonderful journey to this point in time and looking forward to what happens on the future . @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

12.01.2022 PRESSED FRAMES Isn’t it the best feeling when you finally get to tick things off your to do list?! I’m not even ashamed to admit that things I complete that aren’t on my list end up on my list just so I can see things ticked off or if it’s a bad day, they get added to make me feel like I’ve achieved more . It’s just so satisfying! . I’ve finally added some more Pressed Flower Frames to my online store. Which one’s your fave? Mine will always be the Sunflowers because ...it’s the hardest to dry/press . I also just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years and especially recently at such a strange time . So THANK YOU @ Wollongong, New South Wales See more

11.01.2022 FLOWER-ED Oh Spring! Do Spring flowers make anyone else ultra happy? It’s not just the pretty colours but the scents too . I’m really excited to share this season’s bloomsincluding beloved Peonies! Swipe/tap to see some blooms that are currently availabledon’t forget there are some seasonal overlaps! Is one of your fave flowers here? I honestly couldn’t choose between any of these! I love them all for different reasons but if you’re after something scented I’d definitely go for the Sweet Pea or Jasmine . Save this post or click follow when you tap the hashtag #APRflowerEd to get your flower education fix

11.01.2022 MINI FOREVER When @itstherobbofam asks you to add florals to a mini vase and all you want to do now is make EVERYTHING mini @ Spring Farm

10.01.2022 HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY Happiest Mother's Day to all the Mamas out there of every kind and special virtual hugs to those who are missing a loved one on this day. It can be a happy, sad, mixed emotions kind of time and I want to take a minute to say I see you . I feel so blessed to have been surrounded by, taught and loved by my own Mother, my sisters, my angel sister in heaven, my husband's Oma and all my mother-figures. So much love to you you help me bloom I wrote this poem last year when I was thinking about all the mama figures in my life who've helped and continue to help me to bloom. I try to sit in gratitude for the special people in my life but I also enjoy the reminders we have throughout the year to stop, reflect and say thank you. Thank you for holding the fort day to day . @ Wollongong, New South Wales

10.01.2022 FLOWER-ED Should I get training to become a Florist? I get asked this question all the time! I don't actually but you can tell that I've been watching a little too many YouTube viddys where they say that all the time . But it's a great question to explore and so I thought that for #APRflowerEd this week, I'll share my views and experiences for flower lovers who want to get into the flower selling business or even for those who are interested in knowing the differences betw...een trained and untrained/self-trained florists. . If you jump to the link in my bio I share five reasons why I chose to become a qualified Florist, which I did through @pearsonsschool . Coming from a Polynesian background, it's not common for anyone to go to school and get qualified... to learn anything *art-related* it'll be on-the-job and hands on experience with lots of practise until you get it right and so I'm definitely not saying that you have to be qualified but get some sort of training, yes! And please It’ll definitely protect the flower industry if we all work from the same standards .

09.01.2022 TUTORIAL Alright you guys, now that we’re all chocolate filled I have my first IGTV scheduled for this very Wednesday!! (pending I can work out how to use IGTV ). It’ll be a How to: make an Everlasting posy . I’ll be sharing all you need to make one, including the ingredients I’ll be using and some tips and insights into *my* process. . ‘Teaching’ or information sharingespecially at one of my workshopsis one of my absolute favourite things to do . I’m equal parts nervous (there’s a lot of pressure creating videos ) and uber excited . I’ll be sure to put it up on my blog as well so you can access it there and have something in written form to refer to . See you Wednesday!(probably morning/afternoon but I’ll let you know ) @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

09.01.2022 WEEKEND HAPPINESS What a glorious weekend it has been !! Would love an extra weekend day to recover and do nothing, who’s with me? I’ve been enjoying the slowing down vibes of Winter and am feeling a little more rejuvenated! I can see me creating more pressed flower frames in the next couple of weeks, yay! Pictured is Un bouquet, one of my popular designs to recreate @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

09.01.2022 SPRINGTIME DELICIOUSNESS I hope everyone had a great weekend... especially celebrating our Fathers/Father figures I’m feeling that little pull out of alignment which for me usually means that I get sick from being run down. I’m getting better at reading the signs my body sends out to me and I made sure I took this weekend off so that I could rejuvenate and recenter myself and be with my family aaand I also spent more time researching good skincare as I currently use water and oils and it’s not working . . I’m truly loving Springtime at the moment and I wanted to share some delicious, ruffly cherry blossom goodness I love taking pictures of nature and I really need to do this more!... you just might see more detailed nature goodness . I hope these bring a little bit of joy on just another manic Monday

08.01.2022 THANK YOU And that’s a wrap for this week . I’ve been LOVING the flower crown orders ~ had me worried people were over them . Sharing some recent and some past crowns I’ve made to end the night . Thanks for a fab flower-filled week!

07.01.2022 ALL IT TAKES I was having a good chuckle today reflecting on the crossroad I came to soon after I graduated from Uni back in 2016. I wanted to take a break before starting my career to do something creative ~ not for business, for fun! I was deciding between baking (not cakes but bread I love my bread!) or Floristry. Next minute I had my floral pathway already mapped out ... not for fun, for business . I did not expect to be where I am today . Isn’t it amazing that... all it takes is one decision and the path you were on is completely altered?! I could’ve been a baker! Or Health Promotion Officer . My post right now might’ve been of breads I’d baked instead of this vase arrangement filled with scrumptious flowers . I’m very grateful for where I am today and that you’re here on this floral journey with me but who knows, it could very well change to bread making in the future Life huh! See more

07.01.2022 SHOP UPDATE I've been waiting for the impact of Covid-19 restrictions to arrive and I believe it has now been properly realised by Florists everywhere! Growers have significantly increased wholesale prices to meet the supply and demand of their beautiful blooms. As we come into quiet season it'll be interesting to see what Growers do but it's plausible that these changes will remain for at least the next 12 months, to our horror . What this means as a retailer is, I need... to adjust my prices/sizes to suit the current climate in order to remain open. I will do my best to continue to create beautiful and affordable blooms . I thank you dearly for your continued support as we all adjust to the ongoing effects of Covid-19. For now, I want to leave you with a little gallery of blooms to end the day with some floral cheer . Pictured: Everlasting Grande Posies See more

06.01.2022 FLOWER CARE Where are my Hellebore lovers at?? Swipe across for this week’s #APRflowerEd all about Hellebores Did you learn something you didn’t know or have any tips to share? Do share in the comment section . If you’re growing them in your garden, why not cut some and throw ‘em in a vase . I’m planning on growing some soon . Any growing tips are welcome! Also, don’t forget to take advantage of my Winter sale20% off sitewide until 31st August 2020. Use code: WINTER2020 @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

05.01.2022 HAPPY 90TH Grandpa turned 90 over the weekend. He has been on my mind and I wanted to celebrate a portion of his life through some images and some of the things I’ve made him over the years. He was a very grateful person and such a good listener. He seemed to have a love for everything, but in particular, food!! I feel grateful for the time I had to get to know him better. I imagined getting the (yearly) call from Oma to remind us that Grandpa’s birthday is coming upbec...ause of his struggles with bipolar it put a strain on many of his relationships. But we knew and we loved him and saw him shine bright and keep trudging along his life journey to become the very best version of himself. He is an inspiration. . A poem I wrote for Oma to read about him when he passed captures the essence of what he meant to me and what I learnt from him: A wildflower, I am. Yet I was wrapped in a cocoon and slotted into a space in your heart as though I had always belonged there. Loved as your own. To me, I was ordinary but you spoke to me as if I was special and had something important say. Rarely do you find someone who listens, truly listens; but you did. You taught me that I can rise above anything. You taught me what it looks like to truly love. You taught me, at the end of the day, problems are just problems and there isn’t anything a chocolate paddle pop couldn’t fix. You ate and you read, you laughed and you really lived. This is how I’ll remember youas the best man you could have become. Here’s to our special people in life . May we ever tell them how we feel about them and leave them better than when we found them @ Wollongong, New South Wales

04.01.2022 HOW TO Back in April this year I started a video about how I dry my flowers ~ this image is from that day actually . But, I’ve scrapped that one and tomorrow for #APRflowerEd I’ll have a completely new one to share up on my journal . If you’ve subscribed to my mailing list you’ll receive notification as soon as it’s live!

03.01.2022 SOLD OUT What a crazy week it has been!! All sold out for this week and back at it again next week . I’ve tried my best to answer all calls, DMs and emails but couldn’t get to everyone as I had my hands full . These are some of my faves for our special Mums . @ Wollongong, New South Wales

03.01.2022 NEWBIESI’ve finally added my Everlasting Flowerpots to my website, yay! Which one’s your fave?! Mine at the moment is number 2Everything’s Rosy . All details are listed on my website. I also enjoyed coming up with their names : Australiana; Everything’s Rosy; Bushtucker; Quicksilver; Head in the clouds; Sunshine; Colour pop; & Peachy Keen . @ Camden, New South Wales, Australia

03.01.2022 LUPINE LOVE I hope everyone had a wonderful (and hopefully rejuvenating) weekend if not, I hope this little viddy of some GORGEOUS Lupine puts a huge smile on your dial Seriously Mother Nature, seriously!!

03.01.2022 FLOWER-ED Can’t you just see Spring on the horizon?! Although I’m a Autumn/Winter gal, there’s no denying that there’s a special air to Spring and Summer. It’s one of hope, fun and happiness! . Today’s #APRflowerEd is another round of What’s in season? Flowers like Daffodils, Cherry Blossoms and Ranunculi are to me, synonymous with Spring! I know that Spring is on its way when I see these beauties around . There are definitely flowers available in multiple seasons b...ut I’m trying to keep these segments simple and easy to refer to and will go deeper when I focus on individual flowers . A flower isn’t just a flower, they have a backstory too! That’s what makes them so amazing in my eyes . @ Bowral, New South Wales See more

03.01.2022 YOU’RE UNIQUE I was getting my hair cut the other day and the hairdresser asked me how my week was and I’d helped @botanicastyleco with a wedding on Monday, so I told the her about it . She then asked me what it was like working with other Florists and if it was a nice or competitive industry. It’s like any other industry really ... it has its pros and cons and isn’t airy fairy like some may believe . It’s finding the balance between running a successful business whilst a...lso being human . Actually, what I had drilled into me at Pearsons School of Floristry is that floristry isn’t just playing with pretty flowers . It can be creatively taxing, a lot of physical labour and sooo much cleaning!! I’ve been thinking about what I was asked and what I love about working with other Florists is being able to connect with people in my industry, learning, laughing, bouncing ideas off each other, sharing the load, creating as a team and not having the stress of the day solely on my shoulders . I’m of the belief that there’s room enough for everyone and if there is any competition, it’s with myself and my own personal progress. Everyone brings something unique to the world and everyone’s path, journey and destination is different and when you look at life or your job in that way, I believe that you’re more on a par to having a fulfilling life which I think is ultimately what people want, right?! . Swipe across to see what these beautiful ladies and I created . #flowersalways

02.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET Early wake up this morning before the sun and I felt lots of gratitude and hope. I can only imagine what life was like back then for everyone but I’m sure they would’ve loved the freedoms I have. I try my best to always sit in gratitude for my life minutes and all my privileges . . The first Pressed Flower Frame is called Australiana and has been created using Australian flowers/foliage ~ quite fitting I thought for today. Grateful and proud to have been b...orn in NZ and raised in Australia. We will remember them . . I’m also grateful that I’m able to use my life minutes creating beautiful things for beautiful people . These darlings have been snagged but I just wanted to share some beauty on a beautiful day . Names: Australiana ~ Wildflower wreath ~ Delphi Moon ~ Un Bouquet ~ Wildflowers. @ Wollongong, New South Wales

02.01.2022 SEASONALITY It’s flowerEd time! Swipe across to see a handful of what’s in season at the moment . Some of my fave blooms right here how about you? . Don’t forget that you can save this post for later by clicking the little ribbon icon and add it to folder on Insta. This will be added to #APRflowerEd too. I’m hoping to share some flowerEd each week!... . P.S. I’m under strict instruction that I’m not to be working or social media-ing over the weekend it’s strictly break time as we celebrate Brenny’s birthday. Yes, yes there will be cake . @ Wollongong, New South Wales

01.01.2022 THANK YOU Thank you to those who’ve reached out to me with kind words or who have bought from my little online shop since two posts ago when I mentioned going through a week long freak out about being self-employed during this global situation . I’m feeling all the love from a community of people I know and others I’ve never met before, but have a shared love for beautiful Mother Nature . One of the perks of social media is definitely the friendships and community . . I’ve been working on some things to share with you and if there’s anything you’d like to see, let me know in the comments below . Tonight, I’ll leave you with an armful of flowers The colour palette is giving me Easter egg vibes . FYI Those little pink daisy flowers are in fact called Easter Daisies They’re beautiful, but stinky . @ Wollongong, New South Wales

01.01.2022 TRANSFORMATION When I first began A Pocketful of Roses, I imagined that I’d run a big business with employees and we’d deliver to the three main areas I now deliver to, run workshops and do weddings and and and... It’s easy to get swept up in business success and busy-ness and equate that with a successful life . I can still do these things, but at my own pace. . I was making myself sick with stress trying to be someone I’m not (remember those frequent breaks I was having ...). When I took a step back and asked myself why I’m doing what I’m doing and what ‘I’ wanted to do, I started to make changes in my approach to work and life not knowing what effect it would have . Little did I know that the current climate is what lay ahead and all the changes I’d already begun to make were in alignment . I’m thinking it’s safe to say that you can trust your gut and you can make transformations in your life that might make no sense to anyone else but you That’s the beauty of being in charge of your own life . . I’ve been experimenting drying with different flowers that aren’t typical flowers to dry. I wish I took a ‘before’ picture of these Tulips . I need to dry more! How do you think they turned out? @ Wollongong, New South Wales
