These are great to do first thing in the morning or at the end of the day when your body feels fatigued Hold these stretches for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times!

08.01.2022 With the recent announcements made regarding COVID-19, the directive is that all Chiropractic appointments must cease over the next 5 days. I have made contact with existing patients and for those who would like to reschedule, please contact me so I can arrange this for you. At this stage I will be taking appointments in a fortnight however, I will keep everyone updated. 01.01.2022 BACK TO SCHOOL Let’s talk about school backpacks! Did you know studies have shown that your child’s backpack should not weigh more than 10-15% of their body weight?... How can you make sure that your child’s backpack is not too heavy? Keep stationery to a minimum (they don’t need 5 sets of the same pen and every colour highlighter!) Don’t bring every book home each night. Work out a schedule of which books can stay at school and which can come home. Regularly clean it out to ensure forgotten forms and uneaten foods are emptied! Use electronic versions of books instead. Find lightweight lunchboxes and water bottles. Other tips to be mindful of... The backpack needs to match the size of the child. Encourage children to wear both straps (It’s cool to wear both straps, it’s not cool to have a bad back!) Pack heavier items closer to the child’s back. Waist straps are great at taking some of the load off the child’s spine. The backpack should sit 3-5cm below the top of the shoulders. Hope everyone has a wonderful start to the 2021 school year
