23.01.2022 Severe weather warning has been issued for Melbourne. Apparently 2 months worth of rain in 2 days! We will be on call to help if you need it. Also please consider all animals during this time. Some pets find storms extremely scary & look for comfort! I find it to be a good excuse to play music really loud to distract them! - Sammie

22.01.2022 Today we are upsizing sub board mains cable and cleaning up the mess inside this switchboard so the next person should be able to see whats happening. Fun times here at St. Albans.

20.01.2022 Another install done by Dan and Yeony out in reservoir today. Customer had no heating and cooling as their old wall heater went to god. These MHI units are are great and safe way to replace the old wall heaters. Give us a buzz for you emergency work as we are still working for all your essential needs.

20.01.2022 Hi All! THANKS FOR VOTING for my friends Adam & Lisa! They WON (in case you didnt know ha ha ha)! ... They now get to start living the dream we all no doubt have.... NO MORTGAGE! I have attached a pic of me with Adam that was taken at the after party and I think poor Adams eyes starting to fuse shut at this point! I also dont mean to scare anyone who hasnt seen me before :) But yes thats the face behind the phone or email :) Both myself & my husband were there on Sunday night for the LIVE show and it was honestly unbelievable! The raw emotion was so overwhelming for basically everyone there and I will admit, I was that much of a blubbering mess anyone would have thought I had won (but so were MANY others) Anyway again, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking the time and voting. 19.01.2022 A pretty blunt in your face message, but a very serious message. Always use a qualified electrician or qualified tradesperson for all issues! If you dont allow children to poke around outlets and appliances, than adults shouldnt either.... Money is nothing compared to your life!

13.01.2022 BULA Apollo Fans! As some if you may or may not know Im currently on leave in Fiji! Im not one for Melbourne winters so Ive run away for 3 weeks!! Just thought I would touch base with you all & make sure Im not missed And show you that I might need to branch us over here as this is NOT how to install an outdoor unit for a Split System!! Im sure Brad would allow me the transfer ha ha!!

11.01.2022 Having a safety switch installed is a life saver in any house or factory. But having one trip randomly can be a pain in the you know what. Here at Apollo we will replace the old one to a brand new safety switch and overload protection combo and make sure everything is safe for you and your family.

10.01.2022 I received a horrible email from Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) in relation to a child being injured by an unsecured cooker. I have done a copy & paste of part of the email for all our fans to have a read to ensure that their appliances are safe / secured to help prevent such a tragedy happening again to another child. Feel free to share the status to get the word out there for all to know. Regardless of you / your friends using us, I think its important for all to be aware of! ...ESV is reminding gasfitters and electricians to ensure freestanding cookers are stable and well-secured following a recent accident in which a young child received serious burns. The girl was burnt by hot oil when she stood on an open oven door and the cooker tilted forward, tipping the contents of the stove top over her. An inspection of the installation revealed the freestanding cooker had not been fixed in place with anti-tilt brackets, as specified by the manufacturer. ESV is urging all gasfitters and electricians to ensure that all freestanding cookers are well-secured at installation and also to check their stability when servicing. Have a lovely day - Sammie :)

06.01.2022 Hi Team Apollo Fans - Its certainly been a long time between posts for Apollo Electrics & I do apologise but there has been quite a few changes & the normal work load has kept me very busy! Firstly we have a new member to the team; Marty. A very welcomed addition as having the two Daniels gets confusing at times! Secondly Dan (aka Big Dan) & his wife welcomed their first child (a beautiful little girl Ruby) in September. And thirdly my husband & I also had our first child... (a little champion boy Toby) in November. So the Apollo family has been adjusting to all changes. Besides being on maternity leave, its business as usual. I hope you all had a wonderful festive period with your loved ones & that 2016 is great for you all. Dont forget to get your Split Systems serviced & change your smoke alarm batteries! 03.01.2022 Today the Apollo boys upgraded some lights in a shed This is a massive change compared to having only fluros on either side The led lights are bright and make a huge difference in a dark shed. Give us a go next time you need a light upgrade

Let this be a timely reminder to not only change smoke alarm batteries but also to book in now to have your Split Systems serviced!... Serviced units run more efficiently which means you stay cooler, increases their longevity but most importantly stops them working overtime which leads to the dreaded electricity bills being high! 01.01.2022 Thursdays are usually fun for me as I get to spend the day with my spunky niece Shannen whos my helper with the ever so fun office filing / tidy up but today I got a super special visit from the adorable Kaiden & yummy mummy from Middys Megan! Needless to say I have fallen in love & I will babysit when Mummy needs to shop anytime!! Maybe I could branch Apollo out into Childcare? Sammie
