25.01.2022 The waves can be tempting sometimes ... if youre a die-hard surf junkie! Middle of winter, but they still turn up if its reasonable. It was a June day, terrible weather ... dull and overcast, rain showers and windy, absolutely freezing cold ... they werent deterred in the slightest. One for you Nino! 23.01.2022 Apollo Bay Paradise with my gorgeous Rusty

22.01.2022 Another beautiful day in downtown Apollo Bay, inviting yet another walk along the beach. Rusty, Peanut and Sooty seemed attracted by the rocks, so time for a snap or two! Approximately 2kms along the beach makes for a pleasant daily exercise around 4.5kms total from front door and return.

22.01.2022 A few changes made to the back deck earlier this year ... new glass balustrade now allows an almost unobstructed view of the ocean and surrounds around to the Apollo Bay Harbour.

22.01.2022 Dog friendly house ... dog friendly beach for the majority of the year! These pics were taken in the middle of June, freezing cold water, okay in the sunshine, but were these tough canine buddies in the slightest worried?! Nope, just enjoyed have a play and a run on the sand and in the water. 19.01.2022 Main bedroom (queen) with ensuite, huge main bathroom, powder room (so 3 loos), bedroom 2 with 2 x sets of bunks, bedroom 3 (queen) on ground floor level ... plenty of light to all three. Carpeted and all new beds, mattresses and bedding throughout (electric blankets on all for those chilly nights). Built in robes with a set of drawers in each room, bedside tables and individual lighting for each bed.

19.01.2022 Our little Koala visitor continues to drop by from time-to-time, and doesnt object to posing for a pic each visit. A cute lil guy now affectionately named "Blinky Bill".

18.01.2022 Peanut, always with a smile on her beach walks. Rusty with new friend Sooty, also loving running in and out of the shallows. Plenty of blue sky & not too many clouds makes for a beaut day walking the beach.

12.01.2022 Theres always something worth having a sniff over on beach walks. A large clump of sea kelp holds Rusty & Sootys attention for a short time, then back off along the beach for a bit more fun.

12.01.2022 Always trying to think of ways to improve Wyelangta. Just put new balustrade to heighten the beautiful views of the ocean.... New dog proof fence to the right...

10.01.2022 The local wildlife often providing entertainment in one form or another, and happy to pose for a pic when the mood suits. The white cockatoo, seconds after this pic was taken, actually fell from his perch because of his rather boisterous dancing activity! Our little koala friend, affectionately named "Blinky Bill", has used our back fence on several occasions this last few days.

08.01.2022 Our GR, "Rusty", enjoying a mad sprint from the water and back to the beach, loves the water and a good ball chase is always an option.

08.01.2022 Our lil friend from the same time last year has been back for another fence adventure. Unfortunately, he/she was almost past by the time I saw & could grab a camera!

08.01.2022 ... and not too far from anywhere really! Just a few minutes and a couple of hundred metres to the beach (fantastic for the dogs), and if you feel inclined to enjoy a few drinks at the local at the other end of town, maybe 20-30 minutes pleasant walking, no need to worry about the local constabulary when done, coz you just walk back home!

01.01.2022 Beautiful one day ... perfect the next!

01.01.2022 A 20-30 minute walk up Marriners Lookout Road to the lookout way up behind the house, and this is the view to welcome you. On a beautiful clear day, apparently King Island wont be too far over the horizon! If you look carefully in the foreground of the pic peering down onto the Apollo Bay township, theres a tiny red circle ... that will be "Wyelangta" on Campbell Court.
