20.01.2022 Great News Guys I’m currently finalising the last details for our SKIP APP, this allows you to order and pay for your coffee and cakes on your phone and just drop in for collection. Stay tuned for when the APP will be ready for action.
18.01.2022 We will be running a Full Provide First Aid Course HLTAID003 with Lifesaving Victoria, Wednesday 18th and 25th November 6pm-9.15pm. Cost $160.00. Provide First Aid HLTAID003 is a prerequisite before qualifiing as a Pool Lifeguard for anyone who is interested in applying for any upcoming employment positions.

10.01.2022 Evening Everyone Due to Covid restrictions I can only have 20 people in the pool at one time, this means you will need to book a time in advance, I am now (and have been waiting) for Telstra to connect services so you can do this, sadly today again it has not been switched on and I need to wait until Wednesday, I was hopeful to open on Thursday, I have now pushed opening to Saturday 7th November by booking system, phone number pending.

07.01.2022 The Apollo Bay Aquatic Centre association is holding a Special General Meeting on Tuesday 5pm at the pool to present its annual reports and to vote on a special resolution to wind up the association, having achieved its goals! All welcome! (only association members can vote)

02.01.2022 Here’s what the community needs to know! The school control the pool between 9am and 3pm every week day. I am contracted to keep the pool open to the public 20hrs a week.... Pool will open longer during school holidays. Opening hours will be Monday’s 6am - 11am (by negotiation with the school) 3.30-6pm Tuesdays 6am - 11am (by negotiation with the school) 3.30-6pm Thursday 6am-10am Saturday 10am - 4pm Sunday 10am - 4pm As you can see I have already offered more hours to the community than I am contracted to do. Memberships are available Family $800 Adult $600 Student $500 Seniors $500 The prices are set by the pool committee.

01.01.2022 And lastly let me introduce myself My Name is Heather Munro, I have been in the aquatic industry for over 20 years, building and owning my own swim school in Colac for 14 years now, I am a Pool Lifeguard , I am a Teacher of swim and water safety, Teacher of Infants, Teacher of access and inclusion and Teacher of Adults, I have my plant-room Technical operations certificate, I have a diploma in Business, Management and Human Relations, I am also a trainer and assessor for Life Saving Victoria, training, Pool lifeguard, Bronze Medallion, First Aid, CPR, Swim Teacher and Infant teacher qualifications as well as a assessor for Austswim, I’m really excited to introduce you to the awesome aquatic centre your community has built and look forward to meeting you all.
