21.01.2022 What a weekend!!! If you had asked us in March this year whether it was possible, we would have said COVID had beaten us for 2020. But with your encouragement & support we were able to successfully ‘pivot’. Thank you to @thefirsttimepod and @jackson_hayat who helped us bring events online, & to @katemildenhall, @tonybirch, @lucytreloar, @michaelveitch, @hollymundaybespokecatering and @greatoceanphotography for giving our virtual events the soul they needed.... Apollo Bay, NIGHT LIGHT has been shifted to TONIGHT due to best flying & photographing conditions! TONIGHT, Word Fest, with @greatoceanphotorgarphy and @apollobayaviation, will be capturing an aerial image of our town shining in the fading light. We see this emitting of light as a great metaphor for hope in the dark and support of one another: not just within our local community, but more broadly. It's a way of letting the rest of the state know that we’re still here when all this craziness ends, that we're thinking of them and heartily welcome them back when the lockdowns end.
