18.01.2022 Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by the circumstances surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19). To ensure the health and safety of our staff members, Authorised Representatives, and clients as well as the communities in which we work and live, Apollo Risk Services have implemented appropriate risk mitigation and business continuity measures. Apollo Risk Services business model was developed with the view to delivering high quality services across all our partners in regiona...l and remote locations. Given this, we have remote access into our network systems and are well positioned to ensure service delivery continues at a high standard. Office Staff and Business Operations With the heightened risk of exposure through personal contact we have suspended all non essential meetings including client and supplier visits. All travel plans have been cancelled. Any staff returning from overseas travel will self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days or as further guidelines are advised by the Australian Government. Any staff member who is feeling unwell will not attend the office. Office Phones, post and email will be managed as normal while some staff will work remotely. 07.01.2022 Insurance losses from catastrophes since the start of the last bushfire season have raced past $4.5 billion according to the latest Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) figures . Losses from the bushfire catastrophe which hit NSW, Victoria, SA and Queensland, ($2.2 billion from more than 31,000 claims) January’s hailstorms across NSW, Victoria, ACT and Queensland have generated losses of $1.2 billion from almost 108,000 claims Losses from floods and storms in Queensland and ...NSW last month have risen to almost $677 million from 77,598 claims, Queensland hailstorm in November are now estimated at $368 million from 25,000 claims.
