24.01.2022 Pick your own Pink Lady apples, this weekend. Midnight Espresso Adelaide has your coffee needs covered, and we have warm apple turnovers with Tweedvale cream, mulled apple juice, apple crumbles and pies. And because it’s cold, we’re going to get the bbq going over lunchtime too. 10am -4pm this Saturday and Sunday, 471 Swamp Road, Lenswood. Follow the official signs, bring your boots and coats and come and learn more about where your apples come from. ... Entry is $5 per adult and includes a picking bag. You pay per kilo for what you take home and you can eat as much as you like while you’re in the orchard.

23.01.2022 Well, for the second year running we’ve suffered another spring hailstorm. This year’s storm was 3 weeks later than in 2017 so the fruit were much bigger targets. This means hopefully the strike marks may be smaller at harvest than last year, but there will be more marks! We are thankful for the support that so many apple eaters have shown us, they do taste just as good as those totally smooth ones we’ve grown in other years. But we need the supermarkets to catch on! Growers need retailers to open their eyes to the huge volume of fruit about to be wasted to keep local family farms farming, because its never been tougher. #dontjudgeanapplebyitsbumps #hailstormheroes #wakeupwoolies

Were opening up our orchard on Swamp Road (Peter and Joel Brockhoff) as well as Harrisville Orchards and Mahnew Orchard. Support local family growers and gain a better understanding of what goes into producing the food you eat while enjoying a great day out in the Adelaide Hills.... Weve got you covered for top class coffee too thanks to the The Coffee Pedlar. Entry is $5 per person (kids under 12 are free), fruit cost is $4/kg for what you pick and take home with you. 20.01.2022 Wow what a day for us at Otherwood Orchards for Pick a Pink Lady. Thanks to all who came! We are open again tomorrow from 10 - 4, come and pick your own apples and explore our Orchard, we also have the most fabulous coffee van, mulled spiced apple juice and warm sticky apple turnovers with cream. Don't forget we have picnic hampers for $20, this includes Udder Delights double cream Brie, Olive Branch Balhannah beetroot dip, Patlin Gardens Olives and cherry tomatoes, Hahndorf Gourmet twiggy sticks, apple paste, our own dried apple, grissini and a baguette!
