07.01.2022 Eco living workshop: Transform your kitchen to an eco kitchen with one simple workshop hosted by @kristenpavezhealth this month. From Kristen: Why I’m so passionate about eco living .... As a child, I had chronic asthma, and each year I’d be rushed off in ambulances to the Emergency department during my severe attacks . I’d have to have my nebuliser twice a day, and couldn’t go anywhere without my Ventolin puffer. I always remember the fear that I’d experience when winter was around the corner. My poor parents must have lived in a constant state of anxiety, wondering when I’d next be taken off in an ambulance unable to breathe . Fast forward twenty or so years, when I moved out & realised that when I cleaned my bathroom, I either had to wear a mask, or hold my breath, because it would make me short of breath, and tight chested, taking me back to what I experienced as a child . At this point I realised there must be other products out there that clean, without making me gag, and without the fumes, so I purchased some ‘natural’ products & found the experience a whole lot better for my lungs . Fast forward a few more years, and I was pregnant with my eldest son, and I got really interested in the effect that chemicals were having on my unborn children. It was then that I realised the products I thought were natural, weren’t so. I’d been tricked at the supermarket shelf aka green washed . It wasn’t until I’d discovered the Thieves cleaning solution that I was really happy with how the product worked, the ingredients in it & the price point .
