BARISTA / FRONT OF HOUSE ALL ROUNDER - approx 30 hours (casual) Previous experience in a busy cafe + strong barista skills are considered ESSENTIAL for this role (we regularly get slammed in the coffee department & you will need to be able to hold your own behind the machine!) If you enjoy working in a small friendly team, have excellent customer service skills & show attention to detail, then this position... could be perfect for you! It wasn't all that long ago that we thought we may not have the opportunity to offer a Winter Menu this year, but with restrictions being eased & dine in options getting back to some kind of normal, we thought we'd jump at the chance to add some delicious new dishes & bring back some favourites from the early Appleseed days (like Mushroom Arancini & Lamb Yiros - YUM!) What dish are you going to try first??

06.01.2022 We're so happy about the latest restrictions being lifted we're going to start trading 7 days again - woo hoo!! Since we were given the go ahead by authorities earlier this week to offer dine in at the cafe (well actually, to dine 'out' if we're being 100% accurate ) our staff & customers health & safety has been front & centre in our mind. We've implemented the following best practice principles in an attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19: - Separate Entry & Exit doors to... limit contact points - Hand sanitiser available for customers - Observe & encourage social distancing (1.5 metres rule) - Tap & go payment preferred (limit use of cash) - Dining in outdoor areas only (indoor service is prohibited) - A maximum of 10 patrons at any time (outdoor dining) - Dine in customer details recorded (to enable contact tracing) - 1 person per 4 square metres (density requirement) - Ensure no alcohol is served or consumed on the premises (as directed by CBS - Liquor & Gambling) - Chairs & tables disinfected between sittings Your ongoing support has been amazing!! Fingers crossed if we all work together & stick to the rules, we can move to Stage 2 restrictions... dining inside - how good would that be!!!
