25.01.2022 Congratulations to Anthony for obtaining an apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics! Anthony completed one of our automotive pre-apprenticeship courses in early April, and was able to gain a full time apprenticeship as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic after his work trial. These courses run for a duration of TWO WEEKS, followed by work placement and are NSW Government funded for individuals aged 15-24. 20.01.2022 Your car's tyres need special care in warmer weather as high temperatures put added stress on them. To maximise tyre life and safety, check the tyre condition and inflation pressure monthly, and have the tyres rotated approximately every 10,000 kilometres. Summer heat will cause the pressure within a tyre to rise, therefore, it's important to check the pressure when tyres are cold. The owner's manual includes the recommended air pressure for your vehicle's tyres.

This applies to mobile phone, speeding, seatbelt, red light and drink and driving offences. We urge drivers to be patient, take regular breaks to recharge, put the phone away and slow down, because we all have a part to play in saving lives on our roads!

11.01.2022 There are many different methods to remove a sticker from a car bumper or window. One of these methods is to beat it with heat. Set a hair dryer to the low heat setting and aim the nozzle approximately 15cm from the sticker (heat from a shorter distance can erode paint or even melt the plastic bumpers!). Then blast away for about a minute, applying heat as evenly as possible to every inch of the bumper sticker. This should sufficiently loosen the bumper sticker, allowing you ...to lift a corner with a credit card or rubber spatula (use a gentle touch, so you don't scratch the paint or window). Once you've got your tool under the corner, gradually glide it beneath the paper to remove the sticker. If portions fail to come away during the process, use one hand to apply more heat to the front of the sticker as you peel off the persistent part with your other hand. Wipe away sticker residue with a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol, then follow up by buffing fresh car wax into the bumper with a car-safe buffer pad. See more
