24.01.2022 Oh so we are heading back to Perth after a great two weeks in Nepal, training over 100 enthusiastic people. Mostly pastors, church workers, NGO workers, a few mothers, and even some young students. People that have the capacity to teach others and multiply the training. The man on the left in this photo said to us I heard about this technology some years ago but didn’t learn it. I couldn’t afford the cost they charged to teach it. But now I’m so happy because you have come and taught us to build them ourselves for free! - that’s the vision after all. We will be back in Nepal later this year. For now we are working on new projects, follow up of others and the future development of our App Tech Centre site!

18.01.2022 The future home of YWAM Perth Appropriate Technology. See those two cement slabs furthest away? We need to put two sheds on those for housing equipment and workspace. Please be praying for us for the right donation! Certain requirements have to be met, so can't just put up any sized shed. Lots more happening! Working on some new innovations. Planning a trip to Nepal soon for training in water filtration and food production techniques. Lots of contacts wanting training there. 14.01.2022 Another day of Training! More than 40 pastors and other locals trained so far. Some amazing Nepali leaders who are already doing so much for the poor in their communities. They are excited about adding Biosand Water Filters to their ministry and it’s going to save lives and keep people from getting sick. We are also learning a lot about biogas, things to do and things not to do! Four of us here having a very successful time in Rautahat district

11.01.2022 Well, it may be coronavirus season but YWAM Perth App Tech is moving forward, doing what we can, while excited for the future. We haven’t posted on Facebook for awhile, but that’s not because we aren’t here! In fact, this week we started the outfitting of our new Appropriate Technology site! Just around the corner from the front door of YWAM Perth!

10.01.2022 Let me introduce you to our newest biogas tank family member! He was officially born last week. We've fed him with about 7 big bags of horse manure and water. Now we wait...for him to fart.

04.01.2022 We have a team right now teaching Water Filtration and Tower Gardens in Manila! They have multiple training seminars organised by different churches, a university and a major hospital. These seminars are happening all over the city, where the App Tech team is equipping people who are already working in impoverished communities. This is the heart of what we do, equipping those already engaged so that they can multiply life saving and life changing technologies in their cities and beyond!

04.01.2022 Did you think we disappeared? No Way! We haven’t posted in awhile but we have been very active! And this team is currently in Manila building a Bio-Gas toilet, as well as following up multiple people who YWAM Perth App Tech has trained in Water Filtration Technology!
