25.01.2022 Happy to say all is back to normal at 'Appy Kennels and Creche. I can now send all the dogs home knowing they are well and healthy coz that nasty little virus has gone. Yea!!!

23.01.2022 Its been a big night for my girl Miss Onyx, 4 puppies 1 red/white and 3 black/white. You might of noticed the huge whelping box set up for Onyx and there she is squeezed into a small type of dog bed.

23.01.2022 If you are planning to buy a dog or know someone who is looking for one, well worth the read Dogzonline Pedigree Pure Bred VS Designer Dog. What I liked about it was at the end they said there is noting wrong with buying a cross breed. Kelpie X dogs is all I ever owned until I bought my first border collie Cruise picured here.

'Appy Kennels is for non aggressive dogs and breeds so dogs will be playing with dogs and of a similar size.

Spring time, and we get a call about a fledgling that can’t walk, that looks scraggly, that’s being attacked by other birds. And our heart sinks. Metabolic bone disease hits chicks the hardest. This is a DIRECT RESULT of people feeding its parents mince meat, diced meat, cat food or bread. The chick doesn’t end up with enough calcium or phosphorus in growth and its legs deform into weak clasped toes. Its feathers are weak, tatty and broken. Often their beaks are bent or broken. We have done this to her. We have created these growth deformities through feeding her parents food that was not meant for a magpie. Please, if you want to feed birds in your garden, buy insects from your local pet shop to throw on the grass for them, dig some worms out of your compost or even simply just water your lawn so insects come to the surface. But please, please, don’t feed them meat. It’s killing them. See more

14.01.2022 It has been a lovely day even though a little on the warm side. The Doggy Day Care Kids had an energetic morning and slowed down by the afternoon and just lazed under the many shade trees on my property. Here are some photos.

10.01.2022 I have just returned from Aqua Marine's first outing, Cleaver Creatures Puppy Preschool. I love doing this with my puppies and they love it also. Obstacles for her to try out with plenty of treats and praise to make it a great experience with a little socializing. Aqua is now having some serious down time after all her new experiences this morning.

06.01.2022 Expecting puppies this week and the nursery is at last ready.

05.01.2022 Wednesday was a happy/sad day for me as the first of my puppies went to her new home. Good news is that "Wish" has a best mate to teach her the ropes a beautiful border collie and a couple of cats. Lovely Sue has sent me a couple of photos, I think Wish must of been very busy as in both photos she is sleeping. She is such a pretty little girl.

04.01.2022 Friday 13 November I will be having the yearly pest spraying for spiders in the kennels so there will be no doggy day care that day. Sorry for any inconvenience.
