23.01.2022 With not too many of these extremely cool HSV ZL1 Camaros around its always a privilege to be asked to work on one. We fitted a full exhaust system and combined it with an in-house modified Harrop cold air intake. Still on the std boost level and using 98 octane fuel, we then re mapped the calibration to suit the better flow characteristics. Good gains ! #apstuned .

She is a very loved member of the Morabito family and was always supportive of the boys and their endeavours, specially when it came to garage "fix the car" sessions ! 19.01.2022 Had a gut feel that something wasnt quite right with this GTS that was not responding to tuning as expected, so the boys started delving a little deeper. Fortunately for this customer we have seen enough of these cars and have the experience to say "stop, something isnt right". Never take anything for granted ! This little LSA was trying to breathe through half a twin 3 inch exhaust as the failed cat had completely blocked off one side.... Back to the dyno for you ! #apstuned

17.01.2022 How much power can you put down on our Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers roller dyno? Well , we're not too sure but we have the capacity to hold plenty on ours....new record on our dyno today as we tested it somewhat with Jack's beautifully built VZ ute, Dart blocked 427 cube + 98 mm turbo. With the Haltech elite ecu on board and all the sensors to monitor pretty much everything, it made tuning this a breeze. Looking forward to pulling the exhaust off and adding some more "page u...p" to see where this will end up, specially given we have at least 10 psi to go :) Have a close look at the pic of the rear tyres ! 17.01.2022 "Tighten up those straps and show the real power" Well, we had these hella tight, now have a think about how much power we are losing through the tyre being deformed in order to make it bite the roller. Tyres were at 55 psi Time to get this onto a @Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers Pro-Hub dyno for a comparison... p.s. apologies for the hayfever induced blocked nose voice !

15.01.2022 Been given the opportunity to have a play with one of these new HSV ZL1 Camaros. We ran up this car with a measly 158km from new. Factory figures were 340, 336 and 331 rwkw We fitted a K&N intake and got stuck into some tuning. Std exhaust and std boost levels plus a fresh tank of Caltex 98 .... .....didnt want one before but I think I want one now! Video in the comments #apstuned #hptuners

06.01.2022 For the people that guessed "HSV Camaro" , well done. We removed this abomination and fitted up a nice Pro Maxx exhaust system ( available now through APS ) together with a Chevrolet Performance cold air intake. Proceded to custom tune it using HP Tuners software and these are the results...on 95 octane fuel ! ( owner didnt know any better ) A fair gain and the sound is unreal. 03.01.2022 Possibly the most under rated car on Australian roads. 330 rwkw stock with just an air filter and some high flow cats , 45 rwkw extra with a tune. A few more ponies to be had in the future but will need the addition of injectors and a fuel pump. As such , we kept the limiter at a sensible 6700 for now. #apstuned

Were in a fortunate situation here where we still have a few months worth of jobs on site and can still work albeit taking all necessary precautions .
